CHAPTER 2:

Harry’s POV

Finishing her gig she made her way towards us greeting Ed with a kiss and a hug. “Hey stranger, haven’t seen you in a while.” She said to him.

“I know babe, tour and recording had all my time in the past few months, but how about you…you look good.” Ed said winking at her. She smiled at the comment; saying “thanks” she tried to hide the blushing by turning her face away from Ed, catching my eyes in the process. Not being able to hold the smile that touched my lips at her beauty, she gave me a smile back. Looking straight into my eyes she smiled wither and said “I bet I haven’t met you before” she said extending her hand.

“Oh, yeah I almost forgot my manners Larissa Cole this is my really good friend Harry Styles, Harry this is Larissa.” Ed said, while I shook her hand, a tingling sensation ran through my body with her touch. Winking at me she turned and said to Ed “I thought I was your really good friend Ed? I hope you haven’t replace me?” laughing she looked me again and said “It’s a pleasure to meet you Harry.”

“The pleasure is all mine, Larissa. May I tell you that you have a beautiful voice.” I said as she sat by my side in the booth. Smiling she answered, “You may… and thank you very much.”

Clearing his throat Ed made us both look at him “I think I’m the one that’s being replaced in the conversation, babe.” Watching her reaction she smiled widely and extended her hand touching Ed’s hand and saying “I’m sorry Ed, but I was just being polite to Harry.”

Starting with the conversation Ed asked her “Have you thought about the offer I made to you?” going serious I saw a change in her, she became very serious and answered. “I have, and I believe i’m ready to take that step.” Smiling widely Ed couldn’t contain his excitement “Perfect, how do you feel about coming on Monday to the studio and we can talk about your contract and all?” Not even giving it a second thought she said “It would be great!”

Taking my chance into the conversation I asked “Contract? Are you signing her?” they both directed their attention towards me, “Yeah, I’ve been trying for quite some time to get Larissa to sign with me so we could work on her album, but she always told me that she wasn’t  ready and finally she has accepted my offer.” Ed answered.

Looking at Larissa I asked her “why wouldn’t you accept his offer and wait up to now?” smiling slightly, she answered me, “Life has been complicated lately and I think that with the different experiences that I have been through it would be a more mature kind of sound and lyrics. And now I feel confident enough to share my life and experiences with the world.” Nodding towards her response we continued the conversation, not really paying attention to the time. Hours passed and soon we were asked to leave the bar because they were closing.

Walking out of the bar we said our goodbyes Ed directing towards the back parking leaving Larissa and me alone going into the front parking. Walking her to her car I opened her door and kissed her on the cheek and told her that I had a great night. However, before I could close the door she stop me and asked “Would you mind going for coffee tomorrow, I would really like to continue our conversation?”

If I said she didn’t caught me off guard I would be lying, I had never had a girl ask me out, and let me tell you I was loving it, her confidence was a major turn on and I couldn’t wait to get to know her more. “I would love to, how about you give me your number and we can plan it later.”  Smiling we exchanged numbers and took our different paths.

Arriving at my house the first thing I did was check my phone finding a new text form her, telling me that she had a great time and the time and place where we would meet tomorrow. Sending a quick reply I wished her goodnight and a see you soon.

I could say that as I went to sleep I couldn’t get her out of my mind, her mysterious answers, her confidence, her beauty it all intrigued me. I wanted to know he, to know her life, her experiences, I wanted her and no matter how hard it could get, I promised myself that I was going to work it out to accomplish her interest in me as more than just friends.
