Davis stood at Malia's door with flowers and her engagement ring. It was the anniversary of when they first met , just as friends.
"Malia!" He yelled knocking on the door harder.
After a few more knocks, she answered.
"What Davis?" She sighed."Can I Please come in?!" He asked and she finally gave in.
He walked in and took a deep breath. He missed this place so much.
"Make it quick." She folded her arms.
"Are you kidding me? You don't know what today is?!" He asked setting the flowers and ring down.
"I know what today is. Doesn't mean I'm gonna celebrate." She said.
"Malia—"
"Look Davis I need more time to think."
He looked around the house to see if anything was different. Mainly if she was seeing someone.
He spotted a paper on the coffee table that his name was on.
Davis smirked, "So if you need more time then what's this?""Davis no don't read that!" She said trying to snatch the paper, but with Malia being so short , she didn't win.
He read aloud ,
Dear Davis,
When I first saw you , I knew you were the one. The most beautiful and unique upon so many people. I could not help smiling when you smiled , I could never control my heart beats when you were around. The way you looked at me always made me melt. They way you call me baby girl to calm me down, I loved so much. I never thought that one day I'll have your child or even be your wife. I want to be Mrs.Welkins because I know that you'll take care of me in so many ways that I can even imagine. I want to wake up to you and Brayden every day and possibly our future children. So this is me telling you that I'll give you another chance.Your Baby Girl Forever,
Malia.
Davis threw the paper down and picked Malia up , spinning her around and kissing her so softly on the forehead. "I love you so much."
"I love you too." She said.
"I want to take you out. Please let me make it up to you." He grabbed her hands and kissed them. He wanted to cater to his woman. He know that he won't do anything to put their relationship in jeopardy again. Ever.
"Damn baby you look so good." He said as she walked into the living room wearing a red lace bodysuit with black pants and red heels with a black jacket to match. Her hair was down in a curly do.
"You like?" She asked. Ever since she had Brayden, she felt so insecure about her body. She gained weight in all the right places, but she didn't like being thick she always wanted to be that small little Malia.
"You look good as hell baby. The bomb. My fiancé fine." He said trying to geek her up. Make her feel good about herself , because Malia was actually beautiful.
"You're missing one thing." Davis said pulling out the engagement ring. He got on one bender knee and said , "Will you marry me again?"
She giggled, "Of course. You were always my fiancé. I was just upset with you , but the past is the past." She smiled.
Brayden was over Carol's new apartment Davis bought for her and Jade. He spoiled his mother , fiancé , and his kids. He buys Germany some things from time to time , but that's just because he wants to show her that he appreciates her for being a good mother to Braxton.
The happy couple went to an all you can eat Mexican Buffet.
"You know enchiladas makes me have to shit and—""Davis shut up. Don't get it then. Please don't ruin my appetite."
