The next day as Emilee and her friends made their way to pops chock'lit shoppe they found the building defaced and ruined. "Murder Diner" Pop felt horrible about the events that happened yesterday and he'd love nothing more than to stop the events or take them back. Emilee and Betty knew what they had to do to fix it and make everything better.

At school Emilee and Betty are sitting on the same couch as everyone is talking about pops. Emilee just listens playing with the hem of her skirt.

"Well, It's another win for the bad guys. No one was there. His entire staff quit." Jughead says.

"He says he's not sure how long he'll be able to keep the doors open, maybe not even a week."

"It's because of what happened to my dad. People are freaking out, and I have to be honest, guys, I don't see myself going back anytime soon."

"Wait..." Emilee says. "I'm sorry. Am I hearing acceptance? I am not going to let one psychopath with a gun dictate what happens to our place."

"Jug, you went crazy trying to save the drive-in." Betty adds in agreeing with her best friend.

"I can't take on any more social issues right now. My hands are full."

"With your dad, of course. And he should be your priority. I will take point along with Emilee on helping Pop Tate."

"I'll help, too, Betty, Em. Hey...anything to get me away from my parents, I'm in."

"Another Bee, Vee and Em team up. They should really make a video game about you guys. Well, I gotta jet. I'm off to meet my dad's court-appointed Joke of a lawyer at the sheriff's station."

Jughead kisses Betty and starts heading for the door when Archie speaks up. "I'm coming with you Jug, I have to stop an drop off some flyers for sheriff Keller. Bye."

School left out for the day and Emilee makes her way to her house, passing a group of bikers, one guy catches her eye, and she wonders what it would be like to speak with him, and why is he even on this side of town. She makes her way inside her house and up to her bedroom.

'Dear Diary,

Things in Riverdale are not getting better. I fear that they are only getting worse. Pops was defaced today of an accident that happened that he cannot control, and I fear Archie is going to spiral out of control. I fear that my brother is hiding secrets from me again, when he vowed to never hid them from me again after last time. The Southside Serpents are appearing in town more and more, and I worry that something bad is going to happen.

At the local sheriff station Jughead is doing everything he can to save his dad and get his dad released from jail, after all he wasn't the one to kill Jason Blossom, he just assisted in covering up the murder, all in good reason, since Clifford Blossom threatened to kill Jughead.

"First Mr. Jones, To review the charges. You are facing, arson, destruction of evidence, making a false confession, obstructing justice, not to mention this whole nasty mess of dumping a dead kid in the River."

Heads in his hands he looks up, "Ugh, yeah...I know what I did. What's the deal? What are they offering?"

At school the next day Emilee and Betty were excited to tell everyone what they have come up with in order to save pops. It had to work, Emilee refused to accept defeat she was like her mother in that aspect. After graduation Emilee plans to join the Army, to fight for her country.
