Halloween was always a time for children to fascinate themselves with all things spooky, scary, and dark. Little kids would dress up as monsters, superheroes, or princesses and go from house to house receiving candy and treats...
But Jack Kline wasn't a little kid anymore. He was seventeen going on eighteen, and that means one simple thing. They don't go trick or treating... they do shit like this.
They were at an old abandon farm down the road from the Lawrence High School, a group of about a dozen kids, two of which were Jack's best friends— Claire Novak and Kaia Nieves. One of the kids, some cocky jock named Adam, had gotten his hands on a Ouija board, and they all wanted to see if they could contact some sort of ghost on the land.
Jack was feeling a little be repressed the whole time. Everyone in the room was coupled up except him. He felt like a sore thumb. Awkward, shy, and quiet during the whole thing... he just... just wished that once in his life things would go his way.
Suddenly, the planchette and board began to shake. Adam's girlfriend, Bela, looked at him and snapped, "Stop playing around!"
"I-I'm not." Adam gasped. Then, out of no where, the candles they had lit in the room all went out at the same time. Everyone screamed and took off running, leaving only Jack behind.
Jack jumped to his feet, about to run, when he heard a low chuckling behind him. He was overwhelmed with fear, slowly turning around to see...
A... A man with horns and a tail?
"Hello there, cute stuff." The man purrs, snapping his fingers so that the candles relit. He was wearing some black leather pants with red boots and an open-sided tank top that showed off his lightly tanned skin. Golden eyes watched Jack closely, before flicking to black as his deep violet tail flicked around behind him. "A pleasure to meet you... my name is Gabriel. I'm the demon you summoned... and I'm here to make all of your wildest and dirtiest dreams come true."
