It's been a few days since the whole Thomas incident and I've finally calmed down. I have been covering the fucking hickies and bite marks with coverup because it's a sad reminder to see them for both Ryan and myself. It was really traumatizing.
Ryan has been with me as much as possible but he still had to work too. I was sad to lose my job well actually quit because it was good money but I can't face that monster again.
I sat on the couch watching peaky blinders when I got a call. I didn't recognize the number so I was hesitant on picking up but I told myself to just answer. I refuse to put myself in a shell because of that one incident.
Plus Ryan and Aaron keep reassuring me that I won't be bothered by Thomas ever again. I'm assuming Ryan beat the guy up or something because he left that night in a fit of rage.
I took a deep breath and picked up the phone. "Hello?" "Madison? It's kelly." "Oh... hey.. look I'm sorry I didn't come back I just.." she didn't let me finish. "No it's fine. Your not the first girl that's run off because of that asshole. I wish I knew what was really going on so I could have warned you. I thought they just couldn't handle the job. I mean that's what he was telling me.. It was a shitty situation.. I don't know exactly what happened but I have an idea from what I hear the others say he did to them. All of the girls opened up to me after that night.
I was tearing up because I felt it could have all been avoided had they just spoke up earlier. Now I know why the other girls all screamed my name when they saw me crying running out of his office. I was mad about what fucking happened but now I need to use this as a lesson to become stronger.
"Oh. Yea. He tried to force himself onto me.. I don't want to go back and face that shit." "Oh no hun he's gone. Us girls all told the owners about what was going on.. When the other girls cried and told me how he was forceful with them as well I flipped my shit. It was the last straw. We wanted to apologize to you and let you know he got a call from the owners as soon as we told them and they fired him. But he hasn't called back or showed up around here. It's like he disappeared off the face of the earth." "Wow. So he's gone?" "Yup and the owners made me manager of the club. And I wanted to call and offer you your job back but with a better title.. I want to make you bar manager. I'll have my hands full with everything else so the extra help would be amazing and honestly you're the best we've had in a long time. What do you think? Oh! And the pay triples." "Ummm. I don't know it all sounds great but I'm just a bit scared about it all." "Look, take a few days to think it over and give me your answer by Friday." I could hear her smile. "Yea I'll think about it. Thanks for thinking of me." "Of course! Your good at what you do and I see the potential in you as management. It's a great opportunity so just think hard. Well I'll let you go. I hope you decide to work alongside me! Bye girl!" "Bye Kell." I hung up and smiled.
I sat there contemplating everything Kelly said. Yes what happened there sucks but if he's gone then maybe this can all work out for the better. Plus being bar manager sounds fucking great!
A few hours later the guys got home and I ran up to Ryan and clung to him. Fuck I love this guy. He makes me feel so safe. "How was your guys' day?" I asked them. "Ehh." Aaron responded then walked off to his room. "Oh. Ok..." I laughed at his sassy attitude. "It was just a long day Babe." Ryan said then lifted me into a kiss
