I stood in the door way, my mouth hanging open. I couldn't believe what my eyes were seeing. Calum and Flynn Kravis were in the bathroom making out. Calum was gay? Flynn Kravis was gay? Who else is gay? Calum and Flynn stood there, neither one speaking. "It's not what it looks like," Calum was the first to speak. I look at him with a questioning look.

"Then what the fuck does it look like?" I ask. I was very confused, Calum was my best friend how could I not know he was gay. Flynn tried to speak, but Calum wouldn't let him.

"So, maybe it is what you think," he says. I just stare at them. I can't believe this.

"Please don't tell anyone what you saw," Flynn says to me. "I don't want anyone to know I'm gay, Karter and Alix are the only ones who know," he says referring to Karter and her best friend.

"Okay I won't," I say. I didn't know what else to say so I just close the door and walk away. Wow that was awkward.

I awoke the next morning with a huge hangover. Why do I drink when I know I'll regret it in the morning? I run down to the kitchen and make something that'll cure this hangover. Drinking the disgusting smoothie I made, I grab my phone and text Karter. She said we were having lunch at The Kalaris. Still can't get over the fact that she chose the most expensive restaurant to eat at.

At eleven I started getting ready. I wanted to look good for Karter, I mean she is in the running to be a model. I don't want to look like trash when I'm on a date with her. I dig through my closet and finally find a nice outfit. I take a quick shower, blow dry my hair, then change into the outfit I had chosen. I really hope she likes it.

Since I didn't have a car, I'd have to walk to the restaurant, good thing it was only ten minutes away. Grabbing my wallet and keys I head out. I really hope this goes well.

I didn't realize I was running late till I saw Karter standing outside of the building. She was wearing a really pretty pink dress with vans. "Wow you look amazing," I said to her. She gave me a hug and smiled.

"You do too," she says to me. Her cheeks were red, but that could just be her makeup. "So you ready to go inside?" She asks me. I nod my head. I extend my hand out for her to take, which she does. The table she had reserved was towards the back, private. There was a vase of flowers with a lit candle next to it. It was... romantic.

"Wait so you're telling me only three people showed up to the show?" Karter and I were having a great time. I told her about the time the band was set to perform but only three people showed up, my mom being one of them.

"Yeah, we still played a few songs for them though," I say drinking my Coke. "It was still embarrassing."

"Maybe I could come to one of your shows sometime," My eyes widened. Karter wanted to come to one of my shows, I'm dreaming right?

"Yeah, that'd be awesome. I'll let you know when our next show is." She gives me a big smile. We stayed in the restaurant for a few hours. We just started talking about ourselves. I told her about my brothers, she told me about her annoying sister. I said to her that my dream was to perform for millions of people, hers was to be on the cover of Vogue. I even told her I was a virgin. Crazy right?

"But, you're almost seventeen." She says to me. I laugh and shake my head.

"Well you kinda made it hard for me to find a girlfriend with all your bullying," I say to her. I didn't want her ti feel bad.

"I'm sorry, I never realized that," I smile at her and take grab her hand.

"It's okay, I forgive you." It was about another hour or so until Karter had to go home.

"It was really nice hanging out with you," she says to me smiling.

"Yeah, you're a real different person when you're nice," I joke. She rolls her eyes at me and laughs. "So I'll see you around." I say. I give her a hug and then I was off.

When I got home, the boys were all sitting in my living room just waiting for me. "What are ya'll doing here?" I question them as I sit down.

"So, tell us about your date," Michael nudges me and winks.

"It went well, I think. We ate and talked that's all." I explain. They groan.

"No kissing?" Ashton questions. I shake my head. "That's lame," I look over at Calum who had been silent the whole time.

"So," I say. "How's Flynn?" I question him. I give him a smirk. Michael and Ashton still didn't know about the bathroom incident that happened last night.

"Oh um, he's good." Calum says quietly. Something was up with him.

As I laid in bed that night, all I could think about was Karter. I know it was weird, Karter has hated me since fifth grade, and now all of a sudden she asks me on a date? The world really is ending. Or maybe the universe is finally on my side. Either way, I was kind of looking forward to whatever happens.
