There is nothing there

I swear I could feel someone watching me. I'm walking my dog, I thought someone was in the front so I went through the back after telling myself countless times that no one was outside. I opened the curtain to the back door and prepared to face a man's smiling face but no one was there. I went out to walk my dog and I could see the smoke billowing from my home- I thought someone would walk through it towards me. And when my dog went further than the leash could go, I hesitated but went, thinking someone was pulling my shoe to the ground so I could never leave. I thought someone was staring at me through the sides. I get this creepy feeling and so I start to pace to take my mind off it. I walk around, thinking that someone would jump over the fence and run to me. To cause me harm. I was jumped scared when my own mother appeared at the glass door, heading into the basement and just to calm myself down, I waved saying "hi, mom!" I had enough of walking my dog so we go inside where I quickly lock the back door and make sure the front is locked. I had enough for tonight and I try to wind down my brain.
I lay down in bed and close my eyes, I'm comfortable. Safe.
Then my eyes snap wide open and dart around the room. I heard a creak, I know I did! My eyes bouncing around my eye sockets to look at every corner of the room without moving an inch, scared that whatever is in the room with me will find me and tear into me.
I stay quiet and then I hear it. A munch. A slurp. I smile to myself. My sister had gotten up out of bed for a midnight snack and I sit up, one foot already touching the floor. My stomach churns and I stay still.
Something didn't feel right.
I get up and the floor freaks under my foot. I wince, it's like an atomic bomb being dropped in my small, quiet house. The slurping stopped. I hold my breathe.
My eyes stare into the floor underneath me I am only awaken from my daydream when I hear the door crack. I slowly look up, too afraid of what I might find.
There's my sister, as quiet as ever except she's staring back at me with these wide, animalistic eyes. I couldn't speak, my words caught in my throat. And then her teeth.
Her teeth sink into my throat and I can smell iron but all is still.
She wouldn't have known I was there had I not gotten up.
I would have been safe.
I would have been alive.
The red colored liquid soaked my pajamas and then the floor as I was torn into, pieces of me being ripped off. Just how I had feared. May God help me.
