Hi my names Lesli. I'm in 8th grade but people always tell me middle school was easy for them. What people don't know is it's actually really hard in this generation. Especially as a 13 year old girl trying to figure out were she belongs in life and were she fits in at school. Let me explain, in Junior High at Smith Valley you are separated by grade then you are separated by popularity. You have your the emo kids and the nerds at one table. Then, you have the sporty guys(some are complete jerks while others are really nice). Next you have the popular girls. The girls other girls want to be and the girls guys want to be with. Finally you have my table, we really don't fit in. It's a little bit of all the tables. I sit at that table everyday at lunch with my best friends, Alex, Eve, Jada, Taylor, Emily M, Serenity, Carly, Jen, Lily, and Emily C. Alex is like a kid on a sugar high. She is always in a good mood and making stupid jokes. She loves to play softball and volleyball but she has her quirks that make her stand out. Eve is blunt and sarcastic. She is also a book worm and likes to play volleyball. Jada is the peace keeper of the group. Taylor is an India princess. She is amazing at everything. Emily M is well um she is indescribable. Serenity is like a stale marshmallow but she is an amazing stale marshmallow she acts all tough and sarcastic on the outside but is really nice on the inside. Carly is energetic and sports but she does not want to be someone she is not. Jen and Lily sometimes have the same personality but lily can be mean. Finally, Emily C she is in band and choir and is a theater girl. She is a bookworm too. Let me tell you a little about me. I am an only child at my moms house and the oldest sister to my two sisters , Scarlett and Aurora and my brother,Gavin. My parents split up when I was 2 and until my mom met my step dad when I was 5 my dad didn't want much to do with me. I also put on a lot of fake smiles to get me through out a day. I also played volleyball and I'm on a travel volleyball team. But less about me and more about and more about eight grade. So, you've learned about my table they me tell you about the problems that come with eighth grade.
I'm sorry if this is bad or this doesn't make sense. I'm not a good writer but am giving something new a chance.
