Unexpected.

Chapter One-Not So Good Morning

Beep beep beep bee...uugghh "someone switch the alarm clock off!!" I yelled as loud as I could. But then I feel a splash of water on my face. It was my brother Jerome and his traditional way of waking me up. I grabbed the nearest pillow and threw it at him. He yells at me "get up lil miss sleepy head or you will miss my school bus again and I can't drive you to school today I'm going to university with Sam today." My brother may be a pain in my ass-or the whole body-but he is the one who rescues me from my misery.

And then it struck me like lightening...today was the big algebra test I have been preparing for the past one week. I jump of my bed and run to the bathroom I brush my teeth and have a quick bath. Thank god I plan my outfit the night before...I was wearing my favorite white distressed denim shorts and a black crop top with my white elephant chain round my neck along with my ID card-only my school has an ID card for students- I quickly braided my hair and wear my go to back converse...I had a habit of planning everything before because I know I'm always late...I grab my bag and my phone and run downstairs.

I see my mom sitting on the couch fresh as always. She sees me and says "dear go and get your coffee before the boys finish it all." And I realize that Sam is already here. Then I see my dad sitting at the opposite couch reading his newspaper, with his glasses at the tip of his nose. I then head to the kitchen and I realize that there was a cup of coffee and a plate of toast lying on the table for me. I realize that my brother has kept my breakfast ready for me so I don't waste my time. I kiss my brother and thank him for the breakfast he looks at me and says "I didn't do it...it was all Sam but I don't mind the kiss." I blush and look at Sam and say "Thank you, but didn't have to do that." And take a bite of my toast grab my cup of coffee and run out the door screaming my good bye.

I run to my bus stop and I see no one here and then I quickly check my watch and realize that my brother has fooled me again I was 10 minutes early. Jerome has a habit of playing pranks one me...and he has done it again. So I decided call him to yell at him since I'm soo lazy to actually go and do that. I was all ready to yell at him... I take my phone and dial his number. It was ringing...and then he answered I screamed at him "you lil bastard...you have done it again haven't you." I hear him saying "Hey Jenny. Its Sam Jerome is upstairs to grab his stuff...but I'm sorry for what he did. We were about to come and check on you." I feel those butterflies in my stomach. It felt like I'm running out of oxygen...Sam has some magic in his Voice...and his perfect blue eyes and spiked brown hair just perfectly lying on his head. I have had a crush on him ever since grade 9 but I never told him the only other person who knew was my BFFTLE (best friends forever till life ends) Thea Queen, speaking of her there she is wearing black skinny jeans and a white and black full sleeves Top with Mickey Mouse on it with her hair carefully tied into a bun and wearing matching black heels walking towards me as gracefully as ever. And then out of my imaginary land I totally forgot that Sam was on the line I quickly say "umm...I'm sorry I didn't mean to yell at you but Jerome had done it again you know how he is, anyway so you guys still coming to check on me, and see if my cheeks match the color of your T-shit yet" I ask and then kick myself for asking that question! Sam starts laughing and says "sure we are on our way" and I quickly say "see you then" and hang up as fast as I could. Thea walks up to me singing her current favorite song "moves like Jagger". Thea loved singing and she had an amazing voice. Thea was really thin because she learns ballet and she is pretty awesome at it too. We have been best friends since 1st grade and it was because we both had hazel eyes and brown hair...although hers were a lighter shade than mine. But every since then we have been inseparable. She removes her headphone and starts talking about last night's party at her mom's friend's house. And how she saw a cute boy there but never really talked to him and then she asked me "who were you talking to on the phone soo early in the morning" I quickly tell her about the whole thing that happened this morning and she almost screamed in excitement. But then stopped and pointed in the direction from where Sam's car was coming from...I quickly turn around and pull a face at Jerome and say "next time you do that I swear I will kick out of this country" till the time he could say anything our bus arrived so I quickly give him a flying kiss and run to the bus. I grab my seat next to Thea...we have been sitting at that place since god knows when.
