How, how is this the girl we once knew?  This woman has straight shoulder length hair, Eleanor hated when her hair went below her chin, as well as when it was straight! She was wearing makeup, Eleanor despised makeup unless it was on someone else! And she had been wearing a beanie earlier! Eleanor hated wearing hats! She always said they were too itchy! How could she have changed this much?!
I turn to Veronica to see her face when Eleanor spoke up, "How, how do you know my name? I always tell everyone to call me Elle." Elle? She hated being called that.

Veronica took this as an opportunity to speak, "Eleanor, we know your name, because you told it to us.  I mean, I know that you're bad with faces, but how can you not recognize your best friends?" Well to be fair, we hadn't recognized her either.

Eleanor looks confused before stuttering out a reply, "Wha-what? Best friends? B-but, that, that would mean..." She pauses, collecting her thoughts, "Veronica? Gregory?" She says giving us both an awestruck look.

Next thing I know I'm getting tackled to the ground in a bear hug. Maybe she hasn't changed as much as I thought.

———Veronica's P.O.V.———
The minute I wake up I can feel a thick blanket wrapped around me, that's weird.  Sitting up I panic for a moment before I remember what happened yesterday.  That's right, Eleanor had said that we would have to spend the night because her car was almost out of gas.  She had also said that they would need to explain in the morning, which seemed fair sense we did technically abduct her.  I look around the guest room and notice that the room had the recurring colors of black and white, sort of like a chess board.  Stretching, I open the door to see a narrow hallway leading towards the kitchen.
I walk in trying to figure out what might be where when a shout comes from the living room, "There are chocolate chip waffles in the freezer."  She must've heard the door open.

After toasting the waffles I decide to leave them plain and hold them in a napkin heading over to where I had heard Eleanor.  She's sitting on the edge of the couch with her legs curled up, a book in her hand. She was wearing a pair of black sweatpants and a dark blue hoodie while her hair was up in a towel.
Finally noticing me she sits up and closes her book, "Oh, hey." She pauses to take a sip from the mug on the coffee table, "Y'know, you should keep those. I don't wear them anyways." She states, gesturing to the clothes she lent me.

It was a pair of grey fabric shorts and a grey crop top shirt with a golden crown on it. I shrug before the sound of a door opening makes me turn to see Gregory walking in the room wearing what he had had on yesterday not wanting to bother changing.
Eleanor immediately gets up and comes back with a cup of coffee a minute later, after handing it to Gregory she sat back down.

"So," Gregory drawls, taking a sip of coffee, "I suppose you're gonna want some explanation for what happened." His voice is slightly hesitant, as if he doesn't know where to begin.

"Gregory Charles Laufey, what do you think?"  This should be interesting, "But first, do you think I can take this off?  It's making my head itch."  She said, gesturing to the towel.
Gregory and I nod and she walks off to the bathroom coming back with a comb before taking the thing off her head, the aftermath is not what was expected.

"What the rine happened to your hair?!"  That is an appropriate response however.
Y'see, somehow, in the last twenty four hours, Eleanor had shaved half her head.
"What? Oh, right. I've had it like this for three years now, it's no big." How the frimone? "It was pretty easy to cover actually, all I had to do was flip my hair over and wear a hat. As to why I hid it, well, it's not deemed appropriate for a grade school teacher to have stuff like that." Wait, what?

After that it was a lot easier to explain our situation, as well as catch up a bit, especially considering how we hadn't seen her in over a decade after her folks sent her to a boarding school back in Junior year.

I flip through the design book trying to find a single error in the designs, I wonder what colors Eleanor would choose. She was currently out shopping for food and sewing stuff. I look down at the violet dress I was wearing with the sheer sleeves and immediately regret it, it was so weird wearing Mrs. Lincoln's old clothes, although I guess I had gotten off easy compared to Gregory. He was stuck wearing a dark blue button down and khakis that belonged to Eleanor's deceased older brother, she had said it was fine because she barely remembered him, but I could tell that it had struck her hard. I put the notebook back into Eleanor's satchel when Gregory came running into the room from where he had been watching the news.

"We gotta go!" He yelled.

"Wait why?"

"Because people know that Eleanor was abducted and they know that she's here, it was on the news!"

"What? How?"

"I guess they saw her plates back when we first jumped her!"
Suddenly the sound of a siren caused me and Gregory to bolt and pull Eleanor back outside with us just as she's walking in.
"Guys? What's happening?" She asked.
"We gotta go, the fuzz know we're here." Gregory said pushing Eleanor towards the car.
"Well," she said while getting in, "I guess it's a good thing I got supplies, where to?"

———Eleanor's P.O.V.———
"This rots." Is the only thing that comes to mind when I put the empty gun in the glove department. We had pulled up to an 'abandoned' paper mill where Greg and Ronnie's hideout is. They said that I'll have to switch out my car for a minivan, not that I mind, I just don't like the fact that I had to fire the gun so that the feds knew it had been used. Walking up to my new car I immediately do a double take at my reflection, momentarily forgetting the disguise. I am now under the name of Leona Ripple, a brunette with green eyes. My outfit has changed too, I'm now wearing a dark blue body-con dress, not something I'd choose for myself, but as of now I am not myself so I guess it's fitting. Hearing a shout I see that Gregory and Veronica are ready, Veronica in a flowing black dress with blue eyes now as Ashlynn Trill and Gregory in a matching black tux and dark brown hair as William Spinne.

Let's hope this all goes well.
