One very sunny day (why) I was walking around the strawberry fields of Camp Half-Blood. I was not in the mood to be bothered and really wanted to be left alone. The new demigods kept asking about the wars I'd been involved in.
Suddenly a sunny Will Solace came waltzing toward me almost skipping. You see I've had a crush on I since I'd seen him fight in the war with Gaea. It was just a crush nothing to worry about it would be gone in a few weeks. Hopefully.
"What's up Death Boy?" Will asked.
"So much," I sarcastically replied.
"Noted sarcasm. You want to talk?" I shrugged as an answer. As we chatted I saw how Will's eyes lit up when he saw a certain kid from Demeter cabin Dimitri was his name I think. Will blushed as Dimitri's forest green irises met his electric blue ones.
" Who's that?" I questioned.
"Hmm... Um. Oh. That's Dimitri, my boyfriend," he explained.
"Ah...Um Ok?" I felt jealousy fill my chest. I don't know why I felt this way. It just happened. Like it wasn't just a crush.
"Have you been shadow traveling ?"
"Maybe," I told him trying to convince him to not take me to the infirmary.
"Liar," He smirked but it soon died to a concerning look," You gonna hurt or maybe even kill yourself one day."
"Nah," I obliviously told him. I was too concerned with his 'boyfriend' to notice. One thing I noticed was the fact that Dimitri was very muscular and had a look of fearlessness. He looked more like a child of Ares (a.k.a idiot) and he had a wickedly long sword on his back that he probably knew how to use.
"Hey!" Will yelled, "Stop staring at my boyfriend!"
"Sorry. Um...I don't have a crush or anything just lost in thought. I promise!" I exclaimed. I ran back to cabin 13 out of utter embarrassment and started crying. He hates me! I thought. If it weren't for the fact that Hazel had followed me home then I wouldn't know what to do.
"Shh...It's okay," Hazel mumbled. I knew it wasn't okay I wanted to curl up in a ball and die.
"Hh-hello?" a voice shuddered. I looked up from my knees to see who it was. All I saw was Will.
"Go away!" I cried, " Why are you here?"
" I'm here because of my boyfriend! He just dumped me!" Will bellowed.
It shook the cabin I trembled in feared will walk up to me and just held me in his arms. I felt a warmth wash over me that I hadn't felt since I last saw Bianca. I started to sob again wetting Will's gray jacket. Will lay me on my side and spooned me from behind.
" You're the reason Dimitri left me," Will said, "He noticed that I've been spending a lot of time with you. Also, I like you a lot Dimitri said he was the one to show me that. And I've never felt better.
" I like you a lot too, I say in a joyful whisper.
