Yeh-Shen

The airship docked at Beacon and Yeh-Shen sat beside Braden, marveling at the grounds. The tower poked a hole in the clouds, the classroom buildings were polished and pretty, and there were uniformed personnel waiting outside the buildings to show students to the main hall. Maybe I can start over here, Yeh-Shen thought to herself. I mean, there's already Braden. As long as the twins stay off my back I'll be fine.

Hydraulics could be heard from the center of the airship and doors opened for students to disembark. Yeh-Shen got up and walked through the doors. The campus seemed even more magical from the ground.

"Yeh-Shen, over here!" Braden called. Yeh-Shen spotted him by an enormous pile of baggage being offloaded from the journey. She started to walk over, but the next thing she knew she was flat on her face.

"Move!" Suyin yelled as she ran to get her bags. "Yao, come help me!"

The twins' butler, Yao, walked over with a baggage trolley and proceeded to load Suyin's numerous things onto it. Huan soon joined them, loading the trolley to its near breaking point. Even Yao seemed to have a hard time moving it, and that was saying something. Yeh-Shen pushed herself off the ground and grabbed a lone backpack with a Signal Academy crest on it, stuffed so full it looked like it would burst any moment. Braden ran over to her.

"You all right?" he asked.

Yeh Shen nodded and shouldered her backpack. "I'll be fine," she said.

Braden wasn't convinced. "Okay, if you're sure. You want me to get the rest of your stuff?"

Blushing, Yeh-Shen looked away. "This is all I brought..." she said timidly.

A look of understanding crossed Braden's face. "Oh... okay," he said, seeing that Yeh-Shen was eager to drop the subject. "We should probably go, or we're going to miss the ceremony." And with that, he turned and walked away.
