Yeh- Shen
The forest was cold and dark. Yeh-Shen loosened her corset, hoping more blood would start to flow. It hadn't been this cold up at Beacon Cliff. Why now? she wondered. As she walked on, she saw something she never expected to see before.
The tree beside her was completely covered in ice.
Sharp icicles poked out of the left side of the tree, and it was bent over almost to the point of breaking. This made it look extremely creepy, and made Yeh-Shen wonder what else was out there. Whatever it was, she hoped it couldn't really do this. But then again, what was going to do it? Another initiate?
Suddenly there came a wave of cold off to Yeh-Shen's right. As she turned to look at it, a force slammed her high up into the tree behind her. Now it was even colder. She looked down and saw why; her torso had been iced to the tree.
Under her, a boy emerged from the bushes. He wore all white and ice-blue, only sporting black on his shoes. His almost-white hair was neatly cut, and his eyes were cold and merciless as he stared at her. Then, when he realized she wasn't a Grimm, his eyes became cold and apologetic.
"Oh my god!" he said. "I'm so sorry! I thought you were an Ursa cub, I promise!"
Yeh-Shen laughed. "It's fine, really! Can you get me down, though?"
The boy seemed frantic. "Right... yeah, of course..."
The ice thawed and Yeh-Shen began to plummet toward the ground. She dug her twin knives into the tree and slowed her descent. Landing safely on her feet, she held her hand out to the boy. "I'm Yeh-Shen Fang."
The boy took her hand firmly. It was ice cold. "Ellis King. Good to meet you."
"Oh, you're the Schnee kid?" Yeh-Shen said, then realized he might be offended. But Ellis just laughed.
"Yep, that's me."
Yeh-Shen thought she was going to like this guy.
