the students laugh making me enraged

"you're a fucking jerk!" you say shoving him out of your way

"what was that?" he says grabbing your hair

you wince and pull your hair out of his grip

tears fall as everyone begins giving you looks

"what do you think you're doing?!" a familiar voice says from behind you

you turn around and before you could see who it was the person had thrown him up against the lockers

"why is lee minho sticking up for that loser?"

"she's so pathetic!"

"i can't believe this! she deserves to be hit!"

"is that the way to treat a girl?" minho yells with his hand still gripped around his neck

"look at her! shes useless" he says making the others laugh

"your limbs will be useless after i'm done with you!" minho says raising a fist at him

"please stop!" you say quietly

minho looks in your direction and drops him

"you're fucking lucky i didn't break every single bone in your body," minho says glaring at the boy on the floor

"are you o-"

you run off before he could finish his sentence not wanting to talk to anyone

you found yourself in the school basement where it was mostly filled with sports equipment and unwanted school books

you sat beside the window sill looking down at all the people having fun with their friends

"hey..." you hear a voice say

you wipe your tears hoping they wouldn't see them

why is he here?

"why are you here?" you say sternly

"to check on you i guess," minho says sitting down beside you

"why did you help me?"

"i thought you hated me," you say with memories filling your head

"hey, minho!"

"y/n!" minho says running to you

"what should we do to-"

"sorry y/n, i've got plans today, maybe tomorrow?" minho says apologetically

"oh," you say disappointed

"with who?" you ask

minho points at the group of "popular" kids

"come on minho!" a girl from the group says waving at minho

"i gotta go! bye y/n!" minho says before running off again

"what's she doing here?" the girl standing beside minho says

"i don't know,"

"what are you doing here?" he says coldly

"i thought-"

"you thought nothing, now go away," he says shooing you away

"i know and im sorry y/n, please fo-"

"why should i?" you say not letting him finish

"you were my best friend minho, we told each other everything, you said we'd be friends forever, you lied to me, i trusted you minho! so you have no right to come to me after two years and just say sorry and expect me to forgive you! those words mean nothing to me, they're worthless especially if they're coming from you!" you cry

minho hugs you as you cry into his shoulder

"we were b-best friends, how could y-you?" you mumble through uncontrollable tears

"i know what i did was horrible and i know i don't deserve to be forgiven but please y/n, please just give me one more chance, whatever happens, i promise i'll stay by your side no matter what," minho says almost crying himself

"i don't think i can" you whisper letting go of him

"i will do everything in my power to make it up to you y/n, i promise!" minho says wiping away your tears

3 months later

you had forgiven him since he stayed by your side since the day of the incident

"y/n!" minho says waving his hand in the air

"minho!" you say smiling as he pulls you into a hug

"y/n... i have something to say," minho says looking down

"what..?" you say worried that he'll leave you again

"i-i like you" minho says turning a light shade of pink

"i like you too," you say flustered

without hesitation, minho pulls you into his embrace

"promise me you'll stay?" you whisper

"i promise," minho says pulling you in closer

you felt the warmth of his cheeks buried in the crook of your neck
