christmas eve;

"i'm so sorry y/n," your boyfriend seungmin says through the phone

"why..?" you say worried

"turns out we have to stay in japan for three more weeks for our promotions, so i won't be able to make it home for christmas," seungmin says with tears in his eyes

"its okay seungmin, it really is! im happy as long as you succeed in what you want to achieve" i say trying to calm him down

"but i miss you y/n," he says dragging out our name

"i miss you too seungmin" you laugh

you talked on the phone until you both fell asleep

you woke up to the sound of your alarm right next to your ear

you groaned as you turned it off and put the blanket over yourself hoping to get a little more sleep

"seung-" you blurt out accidentally

"he's not here idiot" you mutter to yourself

you finally got up and decided to be productive since seungmin wasn't home

you went to the kitchen and made cereal..?

anyways back to the story

you finished your bowl of cereal and picked up your phone that was on your bed and went into the bathroom to do your usual morning routine

"CANT YOU SEE IM IN MY ZONE!!"

"ILL SHOW YOU THE WAY SO FOLLOW MY FOLLOW MY LEAD HEYYY AYE"

with the music turned all the way up and you yelling the lyrics of the song from the top of your lungs made you wonder if the neighbours are planning something to kill you

you sigh as you sit on the couch with your legs sprawled on the arm rests

"ooh let's watch christmas movies!!" you say excitedly

as you started the movie you got up and got some snacks from the kitchen and brought them into the living room

as you were watching the movie you slowly start to close your eyes

you tried your best staying awake but you ended up falling asleep anyway

what seemed like a few hours later you hear a loud thud outside

your eyes shoot open and out of reflex our cover yourself with the blanket

there were more noises from outside

"it's just a cat, it's just a cat y/n" you said to yourself a million times

you heard the door creak open

"y/n?" a voice called

you hid inside the blanket even more

"they know my n-"

the person turned on the light in the living room and started laughing

"who are-"

"seungmin?!" you say almost falling off of the couch

of course you got up and hugged him tightly

"did I scare you?" seungmin says as he lets out a laugh

"yes, you did" you giggle

"hey y/n, look up" seungmin says cutely

you look up and see seungmin holding what looks like a leaf

after a few seconds of being confused you realised it was a mistletoe

"oohhhh"

you give a peck on the lips and seungmin smiles at you lovingly

"merry christmas angel" seungmin says cupping your face and giving you a peck on the cheek

"merry christmas Santa" you say not knowing what to say

"thanks for ruining he mood" seungmin says jokingly

"oh shut up Santa Claus"
