Chapter 4 A new Witcher.

Geralt walks trough the mist while being followed by Yennefer, after what feels like hours of walking they see a large building surrounded by monsters. "Yen wait here." "No i'm going with you." "No its to dangerous!" " but...Okay i'll stay here." Geralt walks towards the building sword drawn but is stopped by the swarm of monsters. "Out of the way filth!" The monsters roar and walk closer to Geralt. "Die then!" Geralt attacks the monsters and cuts trough them one by one as usual. Once he has killed all of the monsters he walks into the building to see Ciri locked up in a cage above a big pot of boiling water. "CIRI!" "GERALT, PLEASE GET ME OUT OF HERE!" "I WILL HOLD ON!"  Geralt looks for a weak point in the chains or cage but cant find any. "Fuck! Cant find anything to get you down!" "There is a lever in the room to the left!" "Okay i'll see if that does anything." Geralt walks into the room and sees the lever. When he pulls it he sees the cage being lowered instead of being moved to the left. "What?! No!" Geralt runs out and tries to jump onto the cage. "What are you doing?!" "Getting you out of here!" Once Geralt is on top of the cage he tries to get the lock off but cant." "Try getting your sword in between the joint of the door maybe?" "I've got a idea just cover your self!" Geralt tries to melt the lock with Igni and succeeds. "Ok Ciri, Jump now!" Ciri jumps out of the cage and lands on the ground, right when the cage hits the boiling water Geralt jumps too. "Oef, just in time eh kid?" Ciri hugs Geralt with tears in her eyes. "Can we go?" "Yeah, lets go." Geralt and Ciri walk out of the building and see Yennefer standing in front of them. "YEN!" "CIRI!"

Ciri runs towards Yennefer and hugs her. "So good to see you again Yennefer!" "You to Ciri, what happened?" "I wanted to get Vesemir's medallion back but..." "what happened?" "They tried to destroy it." "Nothing to worry about, that medallion cant be destroyed." "Are you sure about that Geralt?" "Yes believe me it cant be done." Geralt Yennefer and Ciri walk back to where the portal back to there world was. "Ready to go back?" "Why would you want to? The Crones are here some where!" "No time to hunt them down we need to do something." Ciri and Geralt ask Yennefer if she can open a portal to their world. "I thought you despised portals?" "I do but this is important." "Very well." Yennefer opens a portal and they enter, in a few seconds they are back at their world. "Uuuhh still makes my stomach turn." "So Geralt what are we going to do?" "You'll see once we get there." "Fine, lets go." "Hmm Yen where did you teleport us to?" "Novigrad why?" "Hmm i really Don't wanna do this but could you teleport us to the entrance of the original portal?" "I can yes just give me a minute." "Yen activates another portal and Ciri and Geralt enter again. "Goddamn portals!"

Amunnete sees Geralt and Ciri standing right in front of her. "You survived!" "Uhu and i found my daughter." "So good to finally meet you." "Like ways, my name is Ciri." "I know your name Geralt told me a great deal about you, i'm Amunnete." Ciri and Geralt climb onto the carriage and Amunnete rides them to Geralt's ship, once they arrive the crew is silent. "Geralt, it's Johnny." "What about him?" "He asked after you." "I'll go see him." Geralt enters Johnny's room and sees him lying on his bed eyes closed. "Is he...?" "No he lives." "Johnny? Can you hear me?" "Cap'n?" "Yeah." "I...i need to talk to you." "Tell me Johnny." "I wanted to...thank you, for accepting Suzianna as she is." "No need to thank me, i know how it is to be treated differently she deserves as much a chance as anybody else." "And..could you train her in the way of the sword?" "Of course, rest now." "I will rest Cap'n in the afterlife watching over Suzianna and the crew." "You cant die Johnny, Suzianna needs you!" "I will be with her, in heart and mind." Johnny turns his head to Suzianna and leans towards her face. "I don't want you to never feel love again so please, if you find another, grow old with them." "Johnny.." "Shh." Johnny kisses Suzianna and lays back down. "It was an honor serving with you Captain." After those final words Johnny peacefully dies in his own bed surrounded by his lover and Captain. "What...what will we do with him?" "We give him a funeral fit for someone as him." "Could i have some time with him please?" Suzianna begins to tear up and softly cries. "Of course."
