The rest of the day came and went as the elitist old men watched the world Rachel built crumble around her, and there's started to burn. All their work now existed in a database that no longer existed. Even though she didn't see them, she knew the old coots were all going insane and devising a plan to kill her. They had wasted so much money to try and take her out. At the end of the day, their drive to be more powerful than her was their downfall. Rachel had all the money she could ever need to live that; anything extra would just be her being cold-hearted. Giving it to the ones she knew deserved it most and crippled those she knew worked for the others.
The employees that Thomas hired were all spies; it was clear since none of them could keep their mouths shut. While having full control of all the computers, it was easy for Rachel to monitor them. Once they sent the emails to their bosses and CC'd everyone, it quickly became a joke of an operation. With their lives ruined, it was up to their bosses to make amends, but Rachel knew that wouldn't happen since she was about to put the final nail in their coffins. By the end of the day, Rachel was walking out the winner as the empire she had made took it's inevitable bow. Only one thing was on her mind as she slid her hands into the leather jacket sleeves. What am I going to do now? As much as she loved this rush of power of dismantling the establishment. She was leaving to go home to nothing. She had no friends, just herself. Alone and forgotten.
Adjusting the jacket on her shoulders, Rachel walked to the office door and unlocked the lock. She pushed open the door and took one last look inside. It was the one time she was thankful that she had nothing to her name in the room. Still, it was sad to see it go as she hit the light switch, and the place went dark. There was nothing there anymore as an eerie silence settled in for the unseeable future. As she exited the building, Rachel was alone and waited for the town car to pick her up in the parkade. Rechecking the invitation on her phone, she would be an hour early if she arrived precisely when she intended. Not having to wait long, the car pulled up, and she climbed into the back, closing the door before the driver could even get out to help her. Rachel had broken the rich people's norms for so long that she wasn't going to stop now. Unable to relax, she slid the seatbelt on and leaned forward as the vehicle started up and pulled away. Beside her, the city raced past. While the thought of what she would do after flashed in her head again. She knew she needed to escape for a while but wondered if she would ever return. That was the real question.

The gridlocked traffic sparked Rachel's insanity as she kept watch of the time. She needed to be there before everyone else; at least, that was the goal. Wanting those rich old men to see her in their nightmares, Rachel was determined to finish the job she had agreed to. Once it was over, she could start her next chapter with a clean slate. Arriving at the venue, she was immediately greeted by the team of individuals with whom she had made arrangements with. They looked like an intense security detail. They opened the door for her as she stepped out. They parted like the Red Sea in front of her as the man leading the operation approached her. He had a chiselled jawline, silver piercing eyes and immediately flashed his badge at her.
"Nice to finally meet you; I'm Agent Nichols. I assume the plan has gone accordingly so far?" The agent asked while Rachel observed him with a sly smirk.
"Yeah, I got it done; they should all be fuming tonight. If I had to guess, their entire syndicate will likely be hovering around." Rachel explained while walking alongside the man.
"Good, now we wait." Agent Nichols added, reminding Rachel of the obvious.

The final minutes all ticked by until, finally, it was showtime. Two convention centre volunteers stood by the doors, grabbed the handles, and then yanked them open, bathing Rachel in the fading light from the outside. As planned, a wave of the wealthiest people entered the room, all still enraged as they walked into the darkness. Rachel was the only thing visible as Mr. Silver walked in with his son. The old man's glare burned a hole into her as he stood there with an emotionless look on his face.
