Tata: Pooooooweeeeeeeer!!!
A loud yell that startles all the people living near the basketball court of a village every morning, but it is not an unusual thing for them.
Ever since as a kid, Tata became very pas.sionate in playing basketball. Every weekend morning, he would go to the court and play basketball, with or without a playmate, and sometimes even if it's raining, he would still play. After every game he would yell this word as hard as he can and he's been doing this since then.
A time came, Tata yelled so loudly a man became curious about this and asked him.
Mang Janggo: Excuse me, boy!
Tata: Yes, Mang Janggo?
Mang Janggo: Mind if I ask why do you keep on yelling "Power!" after every basketball session you make? I got curious that I have to ask you. Haha!
Tata: I got it from an animé character. Every time he gets the job done, he would yell "Power!" indicating that he poured all his passion doing what he does.
Mang Janggo: Is that so? Wow, hahaha. You are a very interesting one.
Tata: Well, thank you, Mang J!
Mang Janggo: Okay, continue on doing what you do. Good luck and have fun!
And so he continues practicing. And this is how he typically spends his days during the weekends, and on the weekdays, he would attend school as a newly transferred student. As a transfer student, Tata had a hard time making new friends and adjusting in the environment of the campus. Upon transferring, he only have one goal in mind, be part of the basketball team of the school. In his past school, they don't have a basketball team because the school focuses more on academic activities.
One day, one of his classmates came near to Tata and said...
EJ: Hey, new one!
Tata got startled and thought that he was getting into trouble but then he answered...
Tata: Hey, what's up? What do you want?
EJ: Woah! No need to be grumpy, bro! I'm was just gonna ask you if you do play basketball?
Tata, with all his excitement answered a bit loudly...
Tata: YES I DO!
EJ: Quite energetic, huh? Well then, some of our classmates are planning to have a game this weekend but we need one more player to have a complete 2 teams, so, are you in?
Tata: Yes, of course! Where would we play?
EJ: That's also a thing... we have no court to play, still, our gym is being used every weekend for our basketball team's practice. Do you know a place where we can ball?
Tata: Yeah, the court on our village only has a few people playing there, so, our place would be a nice one.
EJ: Cool! I'll tell the others. Nice talking to you and see you on the weekend!
Tata: Okay, cool! See you!
And then the weekend came...
Due to his excitement, Tata woke up so early.
Tata: This would be the very first time that I get to play with my classmates!
Linda: Good for you, son! I hope you make good friends with them.
Fred: Yeah! Good for you, son!
And then EJ and the other classmates of Tata came to their place.
