Weird (Bakugou x Reader)

Chapter 13

  "Watch out Deku!" Bakugou snarled launching himself at the boy, "I'm about to do something I should've done a long time ago!"

With his hand extended Bakugo blasted an explosion in our direction. The blast was so strong that both Izuku and I were thrown to the surrounding brush.

"What is wrong with you Bakugou?" I asked, shadows beginning to materialize around my feet.

The boy gave off a maniacal laugh, a crazed look running through his crimson eyes, "Didn't I say it already?" He barked, "I'm going to kill you!"

The blonde lunged out at me with his hand positioned for another blast, one I was able to block using my shadows. Thankfully there were many trees around which created more than enough shadows for me to use.

"Watch out!" Izuku yelled as he rammed himself against the blonde, knocking him back. "I don't know what's wrong with him!"

The boy continued to throw punches at Bakugou, the blonde was able to dodge most of his attacks but Izuku was able to land a few good hits. One of them landed square in the boy's face.

Izuku's eyes said more than enough. He was worried for Bakugou, despite being his bully, Izuku saw him as a friend. He didn't want to do anything to permanently harm the boy.

"We have to snap him out of, whatever's going on!" I said, dodging another attack from the blonde.

"Scared Y/n?" Bakugou taunted, "You definitely are, you're so scared I could see it in your eyes. I'll have fun tearing you apart!"

'This isn't Bakugou,' I thought sorrowfully. The Bakugou I knew was powerful, prideful, but not like this. He threatened to hurt his allies, but when push came to shove he never did.

"You have to stop this Kacchan!" Izuku shouted, throwing a fist at Bakugou's stomach. The blonde wasn't fast enough to dodge this attack, but was able to counterattack just as quickly. Another blast from Bakugou blew Izuku towards a tree. I was able to catch the boy with my shadows before he made contact with the tree's trunk.

"Thanks Y/n," he groaned, sliding out of my shadow's grasp.

I nodded in the boy's direction before facing Bakugou once more. "How did this happen?" I mummered a saddened tone lingering in my voice.

"Is there something wrong Y/n?" Bakugou asked, walking towards me, "You seem distressed, maybe I could help you with that."

The boy continued to advance, my shadows preparing themselves for another attack. "You haven't been attacking me at all. Why's that?"

I didn't want to close my eyes at this moment, I feared that if I did I would see Katsuki, the real Katsuki. If that happened I may hesitate in my next actions and that would lead to my downfall.

"What's wrong Y/n?" Bakugo breathed.

I must've spaced out in some way or another because somehow the boy was less than an inch away from me, he warm breath making contact with my skin.

I immediately jumped backwards, creating some distance between us. As I did this I lashed out one of my shadows to grab the one of his limbs. I was able to successfully grab his left ankle, the foot he moves the least.

"Sorry Bakugou," I said staring the boy down. After these words left my lips the shadow holding onto him threw in forcefully into a nearby tree trunk.

'I hope that dose cause any permanent damage.' I thought worriedly.

That throw must've been stronger than I thought because I watched as Bakugou attempted getting back up, but he failed wriggling next to the tree in pain.
