The Dark Fairies looked disdainfully down at Jimin's pale body.

"This is powerful dark magic...but it can take less than two days depending on the pay." The fairy said, wings fluttering as the tiny being flitted up besides Seokjin's head and landed nimbly on his shoulder. Seokjin frowned and looked down at Jimin's cute, sleeping face.

"How about three mage souls?" Seokjin asked, glancing at the small fairy. Her wings began fluttering again and she flew down to Jimin's tummy, leaving a trail of purple-silver dust. "Fresh, young male mage souls."

The fairy hummed, a soft dark purple glow of magic appearing on her fingertips and she dragged her hands gently across the open wounds on Jimin's left arm. A glob of weird, purple goo stuck to her hands and she tossed it into the air and it solidified into a sort of lavender pearl-like substance, shiny and marbled. She tucked it into her little satchel and looked up. "Deal. But I'm expecting those souls soon, then. I'll be back in a moment with a couple of squads to clean these wounds." She gestured to Jimin and flew, hovering above his body. "Make sure the doors and windows are locked and covered with a dark barrier when we're back."

Namjoon had smoked at least an entire pack and a half of cigarettes at the end of the day, laying down tiredly on Seokjin's couch as he waited for the warlock to finish examining Jungkook's damaged areas. The mage had gone in long ago, and Namjoon had to deal with hearing weird noises coming from the closed doors. The sun had set long ago, and Namjoon was always one to get irritated if he didn't get his proper sleep on time.

"All done."

Namjoon lifted his head, his silver hair tousled and eyes heavy with exhaustion. He sat up and stared at Jungkook whose cheeks were awfully flushed and his robes were disheveled. The apprentice ran into Namjoon's chest and whimpered into the dark cloth and Namjoon shot Seokjin a stern look, growling.

"Did you touch him or did you heal him?" Namjoon asked firmly and Seokjin clasped a hand over his heart, gasping.

"I am offended. You know I won't touch Kookie until he turns eighteen." Seokjin said, leaning over on the sofa and smiling cheekily. "I healed away all the bruises and marks and wounds checked for any infections. He's still clean, thank God. He was obedient, quiet little one." Seokjin held his forehead in his hands and sighed wistfully. "No infections or diseases~ he's still my pure little baby angel."

Namjoon sighed. "Good..."

Seokjin hummed, opening a bag of colorful candies coated in a thick, clear substance. He popped one in his mouth and smirked, twirling a golden candy between his fingers. "I'm still wondering," he said, placing the candy inside of his cheek, "what'll happen to those boys who touched what's mine?" His jaw clenched and the sound of the candy crunching was heard and Jungkook flinched before looking up with wide eyes.

Jungkook blushed. "What's y-yours...?" He mumbled cutely and Namjoon leaned back, fists clenched.

He pushed his glasses up onto the bridge of his nose and sighed. "I'm not sure yet. The staff there is incredibly weak against the thousands of young mages that attend there, they have little to no control. If I go there, imagine the chaos...I'm thinking about sending a message from the Council's headquarters to the school about the situation and giving them the proper punishment that they need." He flicked a finger up. "Leave it to me."

Seokjin's eyes were a scarily cool dark purple. "I think death is a nice punishment, don't you think, Kookie?" He tickled the bottom of Jungkook's chin and the young mage yearned forward, whining, but Namjoon tugged him back.

"No. You know what position I'm in right now, Seokjin. I can handle this professionally." He raised his hands and snapped his fingers, a lemony-scented dust appearing in his hands and he raised his hands, pursed his lips and blew on the dust, scattering it. "Nobody deserves death. That's what I believe."

Seokjin growled. "Rapists do, and that's that." He stared at the weird dust that had scattered on his floor and he scowled.

Namjoon raised his hand and the dust transformed itself into a see-through, sparkly sort of bird. It remained transparent for a few seconds before solidifying into a soft, yellow and golden bird. It was small and round and adorable, and Jungkook gasped before reaching out for it. The golden bird chirruped cutely and nuzzled into Jungkook's cheek, and Namjoon smiled.

"This is my Defender. I've had her by my side since I was born, and I only summon her when I go out on dangerous missions, but when you go to school, Jungkook, I want you to take my Defender. It's a rare mythical creature that is composed of the souls of fallen victims in the living world. They're fused together once every fifty centuries and I was lucky enough to be born at the right time. It is said my parents gave her to me at birth, but I don't remember where she came from exactly. Only few wizards and magic wielders have Defenders."

Jungkook gazed at the adorable golden bird as it hopped from Jungkook's shoulder to Seokjin's head, chirping cutely. It was round and fluffy and small, and Jungkook really had no idea how the tiny creature could defend him from anything, but he nodded eagerly. "T-thank you, Namjoon!"

"I'll need her back once I know you're safe." Namjoon said with a huff. "But you're in luck. She's currently looking after her nest of eggs. It's rare for any Defender to even be fertile enough to reproduce, but once her eggs hatch I'll bring the chick to you and it'll be your own personal Defender."

Jungkook nodded eagerly, the prospect of having a bird as beautiful as this one shocked him and he couldn't wait to have a small birb in his hands too. "That would be...awesome."

Seokjin raised a single finger and the bird hopped onto his finger like a perch, tweeting. Seokjin ticked her chest, and her feathers puffed out happily as the warlock petted her tiny body and she ruffled her feathers out before hopping back onto Jungkook's shoulder.

"They live forever." Namjoon said with a smile. "So you can pass them down to your children too."

"Get me one too," Seokjin whined, cooing at the golden bird that placed her beak between her wings and plucked out a golden feather. "What's her name?"

"Plora." Namjoon replied, and the bir(b) looked up at Namjoon questioningly. "And maybe if you stop being a pervert I'll get you one." Namjoon snapped.

Seokjin mockingly stood straight and bowed. "Yessir!"

And when Jungkook giggled, a soft red blush bloomed on the warlock's cheeks and Namjoon instantly began teasing him about it.
