Lunch

I was happy enough sitting on my own in my cabin it felt nice to just have some me time. It has been two days since I have been here, and I haven't spoken to my parents but maybe that's a good thing. My parents might have not contacted me yet to just make sure that I settle here at the camp alright. It's not a bad thing I guess apart from the fact that they are talking about creatures that don't exist. I mean I could get use to it all and all the weird lessons I will be having.

"Keely get up your going to lunch!" Ryan yells as he barges in our cabin. He is so annoying it's better when he doesn't talk to me. I'm really comfortable where I am, why do I have to go to a stupid lunch anyway the only people I know there will be just Ryan, Ava, and Sara. Seeing that I don't have classes with them I probably won't see them at lunch. Really there is no point of me going to lunch at all. "No, I'm not going and you can't make me." I only met Ryan a day ago and he is always trying to look after me when I can look after myself. I was quite happy being alone did he forget about the rules. " We will see about that won't we." Before I could say anything, Ryan picked me up and put me over his left shoulder, I didn't even have the energy to stop him. what did I get myself into?

"Ryan put me down!" I screamed but Ryan ignored me and jumped down from our cabin which I started freaking out a bit but thank god we didn't fall. We landed the landing. Look at that I'm not the only one who can jump from the height of our cabin without injuring themselves. I guess that's a good sign that I'm not crazy and other people can do simpler things then I can do. I don't want to be called the new crazy around here if staying here for a year because I don't think I will be able to stand that name for the whole year. "Ryan slow down I aren't ready to fall an injure myself." Ryan didn't say anything but decided it would be funny to start running. I start to freak out, was I going to die from being on a guy's shoulder and falling off to fast. Maybe I could trust Ryan and maybe he would become a great friend. I did want to make new friends after all maybe this is my chance.

We get to the cafe quicker than I thought but I was glad Ryan stopped running. Now I know I won't die and I'm certain now. Ryan grabbed my waist as he took me down from his shoulder. My feet were back on the ground where they belonged. " No need to carry me the whole time here I was happy staying at the cabin." "Keely we both know you want to make more friends here but you won't be able to if you just stay in our cabin and I was talking to your best friend Ava that's how I know." Ryan got to talk to Ava but I didn't but I guess he is right if I stay in my cabin the whole time how am I meant to have fun and meet new people. I can't meet new people by just sitting in the cabin.

"I guess your right but I'm hungry, so let's go inside already." Ryan and I walk in this big cabin that was probably the biggest one at the camp. The first person I sore was Ava but I guess she was dealing with this all better than me. I'm a complete mess. I hop in line where Ryan was behind me lining up. I watched the people in the line before me and getting their food. It looks like you pick your food by what your fingerprint says. "Put your finger here mis." The canteen lady said pointing to a finger mark on the table. I place my right rude finger on it and then took it off after 20 seconds. You couldn't see what food you were getting but somehow, they did just by your fingerprint. By the end of the year, they probably will just memorize what you need to have. They just handed me a blood bag and a straw.

How the hell am I meant to get the food I need in my system if they just give me a blood bag what am I meant to do with it drink it? I prefer not to thanks. I waited for Ryan to see where we were eating seeing he probs wouldn't let me run away again. Seriously Ryan gets a pork roast and I just get a blood bag that's so not far this is so stupid. I want the same kind of meal Ryan has I was looking around for Ava so we could go sit with her and so I can see how she has been doing but I guess she is nowhere in sight. Ryan and I just decided to take the middle table. I didn't want to drink the blood I would be a creep if I did but it smells so good. "Keely, just drink the blood everyone has something special about them you just need to drink the blood if you don't there is a possibility you may die." Ryan said and i was in shock I have to trust Ryan he probably knows more than I do and he is the only friend I have at the moment.

I open the blood bag and stick my straw in it. I take one sip of the blood and my body is going crazy. I can't stop drinking it, it tastes so good and so right. I finish with it in seconds wanting so much more but I have to wait until tonight I guess for my second bag. "OMG that tastes amazing." I say and Ryan just nods I guess he wouldn't understand how good this taste. " Keely there is something you need to know, and I'm surprised your parents didn't tell you seeing they are well remembered at this place." I was a bit confused when Ryan said all of this what stuff must I know that my parents didn't have the guts to tell me. "So, you're a vampire hints why your roommates with a werewolf. The history class is about both species some people recognize their powers earlier." Crap so I'm really a vampire. Wait Ryan is a werewolf since when. How can this be happening a werewolf and a vampire in the same house how crazy.

"Your parents probably didn't tell you because they didn't want to freak you out. It's probably one of the reasons why you're late joining the camp. Seeing you should have joined last year but you will need to do a battle with Liv by the end of the week. To prove you're ready for this world and so they didn't make a mistake bringing you. I know by your friend Ava who is roommates with her she is already getting ready for the battle." Crap can this get any worse I have to fight someone I don't know and probably stronger than me. I've got to work hard now then.
