Chapter 1

Luke's P.O.V.

(First day of school)

I hear girls whispering, as usual, as I walk down the hallway.

There's these 4 girls staring at me. I playfully winked at them. They screamed and argued like,

"OMG, he winked at me!," one of them said.

"No! he winked towards my direction," the other stated.

"HE'S MINE!"

They all, literally, fought for me. I laughed at them.

Many students are eyeing on me. Some high-fiving me, others patting my shoulder.

I found my girlfriend, Vanessa, beside her locker putting on some make-up.

"Oh, Lukey babe, I missed you" she said in her pitchy voice.

Without answering, I pressed my lips into hers roughly, showing everyone our extreme make out session.

I hear mutters from the people around us. They were all looking at us scandalously, I didn't care.

I stepped away and looked at her seductively. Her face lit up.

She was wearing a chesty cropped top, bearing a belly button ring I haven't noticed before. She had heavy make-up and her hair was dyed pink on the tips. She looks slutty unlike her innocent self last school year.

"I'm breaking up with you," I straight-forwardly told her, winking.

I immediately left her with no answer.

As I was walking away, I can hear her crying. I let out a sly grin.

I forgot to introduce myself to you. I'm Luke Hemmings, 15 years old. I'm known for breaking girls' hearts, like what I just did to Vanessa (who is now sitting on the ground, still crying). Many girls like me probably because of my looks and talent.

Speaking of talent, I cover songs on YouTube. I currently have 50,000 views. My bestfriend, Calum, helped me alot with that.

What do you think of me? Douchebag? Boastful? Too rough? Yeah, I know.

"Woah, mate," Calum met up with me, with a confused face.

I chuckled, knowing what he was thinking.

"Why did you break up with her?"

"I don't know. It's just that I'm not into her anymore"

"That's good cos 'cake' is going strong!," he said as we did our bro handshake.

Sierra's P.O.V.

(First day of school)

"Ughhh," I mumbled sleepily just when my alarm rang.

I checked my phone and there's one text message from Nina, my bff.

From: Nina :)

To: Sierra

Luke broke up with Vanesslut just now! I know you're still asleep so... Hurry gurl!

Then I realized it's the first day of school. Shoot.

But Luke is finally single now, so, yay!

I knew him because our mums are bestfriends. Well, Luke and I used to be friends in middle school. But we got really awkward when I told him I liked him on the 7th grade.

Plus, he changed alot now. He isn't the weird and awkward Lukey I used to know.

We ain't friends no more. *sad face*

Wait, shouldn't I just get ready for school now?

Okay, Sierra, stop daydreaming of Lukey boy.

I took a shower as fast as I can, brushed my teeth, put on some decent clothes and dried my hair. I'm ditching my makeup today.

Time check: I'm an hour late.

I took my backpack and ran down the stairs.

"Sweetie, do you wanna eat breakfast first?," my mum (who is also a teacher like Luke's mum) asked me.

"I'm fine mum. Bye," I kissed her cheek.

"Oh goodness you're still wearing your fuzzy slippers," she said with a shocked face.

"Dammit!"

"Watch your mouth, young lady"

"Oops," I excused as I ran back to my room and wore my sneakers.

I came back downstairs, said bye and left the house.

Well, I missed the bus so I gotta ride my bike. No choice.

(short time lapse)

I ran to my designated class which is Science.

The lady teacher was already talking.

"Sorry I'm late," I apologized.

The teacher just nodded and smiled at me. She's nice, I like it.

I sat on the spare seat in the third row....

Which is just beside Luke's.
