Niall's P.O.V.

I didn't understand what was going on. I then suddenly turned around with her in my arms taking her to the couch and set her down while everyone followed us and waited for the ambulance to get here. 

"Did she lift anything today? I asked the girls. 

"No, I mean she got the food at the door but that's it, it wasn't heavy at all." Rachel said. 

"She still isn't allowed to lift food." I said menacingly.

"I'm really sorry Niall. We were just trying to help her, maybe it was too much stress." Eleanor said, as Louis wrapped his arms around her waist. 

I looked away from everyone and outside where the fire was blowing back and forth in the wind. 

"Don't blame yourself, lad." Liam said. 

"I'm not but I just don't get what happened with her." I said, as I looked down to see her just laying there whimpering some in her sleep like state. 

Soon afterwards we heard sirens come up and Zayn got the door letting the paramedics in. I kind of didn't want to let her go, even with him. 

I still think I was in shock when one of men trying to take Ashley from me said

"Sir, we need to take so we can help her. Also what happened?" 

Everyone started talking and then Aurora and Rachel shouted "SHUT UP!" 

"One at a time please." Bruce said, I had stared at his name tag long enough to learn his name.

"Well Ashley told me earlier that her side was hurting and then she ran upstairs to get her medicine and took it and then when the boys came home she got up and kissed Niall and then they whispered and then she passed out." 

"Okay what else has happened to her?" Bruce asked. 

I piped up before anyone else could

"She got shot and then just came home about 2 weeks ago then we were goofing around and she slipped and fell and fractured one of her ribs and and...." I stuttered at the end. 

I couldn't talk without tears leaking down my face and someone squeezed my shoulder and I looked up to see Harry crying as well. 

I patted his hand and went outside I had to think and needed fresh air. As I closed the door I heard Harry finish where I left off. 

I sat down and then just stared at the fire for a few minutes until Rachel said "Is it okay if Harry or I go and ride with them?" 

I just nodded but didn't say who could go. 

I just kept sitting there thinking I had lost her all over again. I didn't know what to do. I just kept thinking I had lost her, it certainly felt like it. 

My hands were empty and I couldn't grasp anything and I kind of felt like I had lost some one very important in my life. 

I didn't know how long I was out here but I heard Liam and Zayn come out and sit on each side of me. 

"Hey lad are you okay?" Liam asked me softly. 

I sighed and for the very time I looked up from the fire to look at both of them. 

I cleared my throat and said

"It feels like I've lost her, just her passing out on me feels like that time when she got shot to save me." I broke down on the last part. 

"We could say we understand but.....we don't-" Zayn said before his phone started ringing. 

"Ello, oh hey babe." 

"Oh, oh, she's awake and wanting to see Niall?" Zayn said before I eyed Zayn suspiciously. 

"So she's awake?" I perked up a little.

Zayn nodded and said "I love you too babe, see you soon." 

"Okay so what happened is that Ashley's rib came untaped and it was poking her lung and they got to it just in time but they tapped it so it shouldn't move again." 

I bit my lip and jumped up from my seat and ran to SUV and then waited for the other guys to tag along, which they did slowly. 

I honked the horn only to have them cover there ears. 

As they got in I was bouncing up in and down in my seat getting impatient with them to get me to the hospital. 

"Dude sit still." Zayn said. 

I glared at him and about 20 minutes later as we pulled up in the Hospital parking lot I was so hyper and jumpy that I was excited to see my Angel. 

When I got in the room it was kind of crowded with everyone in the room, even my mom showed up which they had never met.

My mother Maura had come with my step dad and was looking and laughing at my Angel when I looked down to see Ashley smile. 

I entered the room and everyone quiet talking which kind of pissed me off and I usually don't get mad. 

"Hi Angel." 

"Hi Niall." 

"Hi mum." I said before giving my mom and step dad Chris a hug before looking down at Ashley laying there with one of her hands on her side.

"Are you okay?" I asked her. 

"I'm okay, as good as I'll ever get I guess." Ashley breathed. 

I nodded and smiled. 

"Oh mom I've been meaning to come over and let you meet her but a lot has been going on." 

"It's okay we've been talking and getting to know one another. Ashley's a lovely girl and I think she loves you alot more than she realizes she does." 

My Angel smiles at me and reaches out to take hold of my hand and I lean down to kiss her cheek. 

"Don't you even think about saying a think, Mr. Tomlinson." El scolded Louis. 

Everyone in the room laughed and said "OHHHH." 

"BURNN...you burned...." Aurora said. 

Then everyone cracked up laughing once again. But I noticed Ashley couldn't laugh too long or she would griminance. 

About an hour later everyone started leaving to back home or just get out for a few and soon enough it was just me and her. 

At first it was an awkward silence but then Ashley said

"I'm so so sorry, I didn't know. I thought if I took my medicine everything would be okay but evidently not. I'm really sorry for scaring you." 

"It's okay just as long as you don't plan on leaving me anytime soon." I told her as I smashed our lips together. 

She giggled but said "OUCH!" 

"Well this sucks." 

"What does?" 

Ashley held up her arm with the IV in it and her lips went to a thin line and glared at the thing in her hand. 

I smiled and took her other hand and held it through the bar on the bed. A little while later a nurse came in to tell me I had to go but Ashley jolted awake and said 

"No please please let him stay. I don't sleep well when he's away from me." 

"Okay just tonight though, and don't sleep with her you can have that other bed. It hasn't been used." said the nurse. 

Ashley smiled at me and then her eyes fluttered back closed and I kissed her cheek before I settled in with her for tonight.
