Author's POV

Taehyung was supposed to forget about what happened yesterday, but when he saw the nicely wrapped bandage that was applied on his index finger— he couldn't get y/n out of his mind.

It is Saturday, and usually on Saturdays Taehyung will basically meet up with his best friend from when the time he was studying in UK—
Jeon Jungkook.

It is a routine for him to wake up, eat plain bread with strawberry jam and drown it all with some fresh warm milk. Then, he took his car keys and went outside to start the car's engine.

He saw y/n in the distance but he tried to avoid her at all costs, after what happened yesterday it will only make things worse for Taehyung. So he drove passed y/n with nothing but a slight of shame.

-at the cafe

After he left the car he heard a familiar sound from the distance. "V hyung!!" Jungkook cried. V was Taehyung's stage name, well where most of his friends called him. "Ahh, if it isn't my favourite little Kookie~" he ran to Jungkook and hugged him as if there was no tomorrow. :)

"Hyung, what do you want, milkshake? Smoothies?" Jungkook asked Taehyung before he opened his wallet to take some money. "A banana milkshake would do. Is it your treat?" He was kinda surprised when Jungkook would treat him so many, he thought he had his part time job at a 5-star hotel!

"Yessss, my treat" he groaned and rolled his eyes which made the elder one laughed. After both of them got their drinks, they sat at the corner of the cafe, which usually will be there permanent spot when visiting the cafe.

"Sooooo, what's up with you lately?" Jungkook asked Taehyung who was eagerly drinking his drink. "Oh, nothing much. Just a girl moved into the neighborhood." His statement made Jungkook's eyes widen. "What was she like?" He asked curiously, because he knew he had helped someone to move somewhere.

"She wore glasses, and has blonde hair, she has brown eyes, she was kind of a beauty." He said, chuckling. Jungkook thought, oh, maybe what hyung is saying is another girl. y/n would not wear specs.

"What about you, little bunny? I heard that you got a girlfriend— after a long time haha" those words of Taehyung made Jungkook to punch him to hide his embarrassment. "Hyung...." He pouted. "She is a beauty!" He exclaimed. "What's she like?" Taehyung also wanted to know what lucky girl has slipped to Jungkook's life and made him this happy.
"Blonde hair, brown eyes."

Taehyung was shocked at first and said, " Are we seriously talking about the same person, Jungkook?" Jungkook rose an eyebrow.
"I don't think so, hyung." He patted Taehyung's back. There's no way that they would be talking about the same person, would they?
 
"Plus, didn't you mention that the girl that moved next to you wore glasses? And that would be clear that we're not talking about the same person because my girlfriend don't wear those."
Good point there, Jungkook.

Taehyung doesn't know what to say so he lifted his shoulders while drinking as he was saying, " I don't know." After a while, Jungkook poked his shoulders. "Hyung, can I ask you a favor?" He nodded instantly.

"If the girl that we mentioned is the same girl, please— don't fall in love with her."

He hesitately nodded and he looked down to his wrapped finger.
I think it's impossible.

Taehyung's POV

I walked slowly towards my car and I trespassed a flower stall. I saw men buying flowers and my eyes trailed them as they gave those flowers to probably their wives or girlfriends.

A spark of light came to my mind.

I went inside and the owner greeted me with a big smile on her face.
"Is there any flower that fits this girl?" I showed her y/n's picture. She smiled and handed me very beautiful orchids.

"She's as beautiful as these orchids, she'll definitely love these!" She smiled, gave her the money and thanked her.

I quickly ran to my car as the bright sun started to fade behind the mountains and the sky was getting darker.

Jungkook's POV

I casually walked my way towards my house which is just a few meters from the cafe. I got nothing to do for the rest of the day, then I came up with a plan to go dinner with y/n.

So I called her.

But the mailbox thingy showed up. Maybe she's with a friend, I thought. "y/n, I got no plans for tonight, would you go dinner with me? I'll wait in front of your house at 8:00 pm okay?" And the voicemail ended.

As I entered home, wild thoughts are coming alive about the fact whether it's true or not that the person V hyung and I discussed was really y/n.

His was so silent after talking about it,it made me curious. Plus he was looking at his bandage the whole time, what's with him?

Hyung was never like this after Chaerim ditched him. He was dull, has mixed emotions, got angry quickly. But this was the first time I saw him smiling, embarrassed and become so nice.

Has he fallen in love again?

If he is, who's the person? What made her so special that V hyung totally changed 360 degrees? What if the girl that made him goes crazy is y/n?

I felt like a stone is hitting me. I was so tensed up so I decided to take a shower to release all the pain.

He will never fall in love this easy, not Kim Taehyung.
