Prologue
1-9-20xx
I still can't figure it out. I've tried everything I could conceive. I'm going to need some extra help, but who could be capable of doing such research by my side except... What's that space?
"You shouldn't be looking through my old stuff, Quantum." I hear a voice ringing through my mind. "That looks like my handwriting" I say into the darkness. "Remember what I said earlier? What I reminded you of? You know what you need to do." It screeched. I didn't want to remember. "No! Please!" I yelled. "PLEASE DON'T! I'LL DO IT!" I pleaded. "Good. then do it."
Chapter 1
Clogging up my brain
11-20-20XX
It was all just an accident. At least that's what he said. I couldn't understand what the compound was, but it apparently spread into the air and infected everyone. He said he couldn't remember what it was, but that just got me thinking. What if I created something that could stimulate memories? What if I used the compound, and based the antidote on that? That would work.
No one could ever be as prepared as I was for an apocalypse. I never thought it would ever happen, but it always was at the back of my mind. I tried to always have what I needed, but it would never happen. Until one day. My friend Inferno (as he now calls himself) contacted me in a time of his need, and we rode off in our armored vehicle named simply "Big Fat Mama." I was working on an experiment in the back, when I looked out the barred window. Zombies have come into existence! I naturally became leader. But I did notice Alex (Calamity) was the only one who listens to me, while Inferno just does whatever he wants.
Chapter 2
Experimental Work
11-27-20xx
I've started working on the machine, but I can't say it will work. I only just started testing. No one knows about it but me, so I'm going to have to try it on myself. Here I go.
We made base in Big Fat Mama for a while, and finally decided to find a normal fort. We eventually found a house that wasn't fully broken down. It even had a Working TV! (After I made a power system of course.) We turned it on and started to watch the news, and the oncoming report was "Zombie apocalypse from nearby science lab!" Inferno turned to Calamity and said "I told you." I said, "We need to get back into 'Fat Mama'," I said in my fake excited voice. Suddenly, we heard a knock at the door. Inferno jumped at the thought of more survivors, so he rushed toward the door. Instead of being greeted to a group of people though, we was surprised to find nothingness. Just then, a zombie rushed onto him, and with a quick shot to the head the lurcher was sprawled in his own pile of parts. We cautiously entered the vehicle, and after a while of silence we were... in a crowd of zombies. Welp. After saying, "Sorry zombies" we went on a spree of carnage. But, we heard some language I didn't know and we were blown back into a broken-down baseball field. Inferno let out a freaky "Rrrggghh..." and I ran to my bag to get a prototype antidote, but he passed out before I could get back to him. We dragged him to the vehicle before it started getting dark, and we both passed out afterwards.
Chapter 3
The Nightmare
11-28-20xx
It worked! I saw my memory! Wait... It seemed a little off though. I'm going to perfect it, and then I'll try it on JT. The math will be difficult, but it is for the sake of the world. Alright. To work I go.
