The nightguard left the building, leaving me itching for 12AM to come. I was super excited. Will walked in, and looked very cheery.
"Alright animatronics! Today there is going to be a birthday party!" Will exclaimed. My eyes shone as bright as the stars, well, my robotic eyes. A birthday party! This was going to be fun.
"I have asked Zachary the nightguard to come in and supervise, so he will come back in later." Will explained. This really was going to be fun...but then I had a thought. He killed my friends here...so he might do the same...oh no...
A little while later, Zachary came in. He gave us weird looks as he came in. While Crystal was performing, Zachary came backstage to us.
"If you guys do anything immoral, I swear, I will tell the manager of this stupid place what you have been up to, and you guys will get thrown out." Zachary breathed. Wolfy and I looked at each other. I then stuck my tongue out at Zachary.
"We get it, bas-" I began.
"Remember?" Zachary smirked. I rolled my eyes in frustration, then Zachary left and went to supervise the kids again. When my curtain opened again, I watched all the kids eating English breakfast, burgers, and many other foods. Jealousy stabbed me in the heart, as I watched the kids with their innocent, young souls. I sighed. A few heartbeats later, I saw Zachary talking to a little kid. I could just about hear what he was saying.
"You wanna know a secret about Katie?" Zachary whispered to the ten year old boy.
"Yeah!" He screamed.
"She-" Zachary began.
"No!" I yelled. I knew what he was going to say, and I couldn't let him say it. At that moment, I knew, oh, I knew, I fudged up.
"What was that?" Zachary smirked at me.
"Why does she sound like a normal human? Is there a living human in there?!" The little boy yelped, then began to sob.
"What? I...uh...no!" I burst out. Oh no. Oh hell no. This wasn't going to be good. A few parents began to walk out of the establishment with their kids and shout,
"I am leaving a bad review on this place!"
"This is horrible!" I felt broken again. If I couldn't live as a human, I would have to live as a robot. But I failed.
"No! Wait!" Will called out to everybody, but it was too late. Everyone was gone.
"What have you done?! This is going to put me out of business!" Will cried. I held back the tears, hoping that he wouldn't throw us out. My heart was beating like a drum. Well, my souls heart.
"I...I'm sorry..." I sniffed. Will sighed.
"It's alright." Will smiled. This was all Zachary's fault! He ruined the poor kid's birthday party! Crystal the dragon looked over at me from her stage with fake gems and crystals on the background. She looked ashamed at me. Crystal was always the mature and sensible friend in our group. She was one year older than us after all. Will was walking back, and forth. He looked stressed.
"I need to know the truth," Will complained.
"I thought I built you, but maybe you built yourself...if that makes sense. Ever since the day that little girl died, you lot have been acting weird...really weird...I never used to even talk to you guys!" Will moaned. Zachary looked at me. Please don't say it. I thought in my head.
"Zachary? Do you know anything about this?" Will enquired.
"None at all, sir." Zachary responded. Will nodded his head in reply.
"Welp...I have no clue!" I lied. I couldn't let Will find out.
Soon, 11:30PM came around. Soon the game was going to begin again. I could feel my animatronic-self shivering with excitement. Just another half an hour and the game would begin. This time, we will get him...whether it was tonight or night 5, we will get him.
