"Girl when you gonna get yourself a man." my best friend Shyla ask me as we walk around the mall.

My name is Jasmine Brown and I live with my one year old daughter Blessing Powers in my big four bedroom and three bathroom house in Los Angles California. Me and Blessing father Keith Powers were together ever since my sophomore year and his junior year of high school. Ever since I found out I was pregnant with Blessing everything with me and Keith went down hill. He started to cheat on me with multiple girls, and one of them is his current girlfriend Rhino Destiny. Since he started to date Rhino he stop visiting Blessing and stop paying for child support with his broke ass, but I ain't worried because I got my daughter and that all I need and want.

Today me and my two best friends Shyla and Carmen are having a girls day at the mall as they claim i'm always busy with my photo shoots and my upcoming lashes that i'm pairing up with ultra beauty called Eylure x Jasmine Brown Francis and that I don't hang out with them like I used to.

"Why you asking me that i'm not the only one that is single, Carmen is too" I said.

"Carmen just broke up with her boyfriend"

"I did too"

"Yeah, a year ago " Shyla and Carmen said at the same time laughing.

" I hate y'all' I said laughing back.

"We love you too, but seriously when are you going to settle down with someone" Carmen said.

"I don't know, I just don't want my heart to be broken again, i'm still hurt for what Keith did to me."

"Girl don't worry about him he ain't shit, him and his girl Rhino ain't shit, they can die if I care" Carmen says.

The only reason Carmen don't like Keith is because for one he's her step brother she's the reason why me and Keith got together in the first place and he hurted me in so many ways that I can't explain. No he didn't hit me but he tried to unit my older brother Chris came in just in time.

"We should go to the club tonight" Shyla suggested.

" I don't think so, who's going to watch Bless"

"I'm sure your sisters can watch her for a couple more hours" Shy said.

"Let me think about it , but come on let's go in here, I want to get me and Bless some of the new pairs of Jordan that just came out" I said pointing at Champs.

As soon I said that I bump into some guy with light green eyes and a muscular chest.

"My bad I didn't see you ." the unknown guy said.

"It's fine"  I said  back.

"I'm Lonzo by the way"  he told me.

"Jasmine"  I said looking over my shoulder at Carmen and Shy smiling like fools.  

"Maybe I could get your number or something"  he said straight up and pulled out his phone.

I was thinking should I give him my number I just don't want to get hurt again maybe I should just give him a fake number and if he really wants it he can find away to get it, yeah that's what i'm going to do.

"Yeah, sure" I said giving him the fake phone number.

" Hopefully I'll talk to you later" he said as he and his friend left.

I turned around playfully mugging Carmen and Shy.

"What?" i asked wondering why they kept a devilish grin on both of their face.

"Girl that man was sexy as hell! Did you get his number?" Carmen asked Smirking.

"Yeah, but he got a fake number tho" I smirked grabbing the shoes I want for  me and Bless, Carmen
and Shy stared at me shocked.

"You forreal? He too fine to be getting played like that" Shy gasped slapping my arm playfully.

"This is a new step to find a man Jas, this could be awesome." Shy said as we walked up to the cash register.

"Y'all both know i have trusting issues, finding new love is gonna take some time for me to heal up" I explained to them.

They nodded understanding "We totally understand that but eventually your gonna have to kick heart break and trust issues in the ass and go for it. You can't sit back all your life weeping over Keith Dog ass" Carmen debated as I put the shoes on the table part for the person to get it and ring it up.

"I know guys, i'm trying" i sighed. I placed the last shoe box on the counter letting the worker ring it.

"How about we go out tonight? Just us three and hope Jasmine finds a man" Carmen teased smirking at me.

"Real funny. Y'all lucky I don't have a photo shoot tomorrow" I said making all three of us laugh.

"Let's get these bags home and get ready, How does that sound?" Shy asked grabbing my bags.

Jasmine swiped her card. The cashier gave her the receipt, as she grabbed it he looked at her and winked. She looked at the receipt and seen the guy gave her his number.

"That I can agree on, Now let's get home" Jasmine said excitedly as we followed after her laughing.
