"Lonzo!" I hear in the distance, I turned around to see Jasmine holding who I'm guessing is her daughter Blessing waving me over. I smiled as I walked over to her, jasmine got up as she hugged me from the side.

"Hey beautiful," I said hugging her from the side as well, I looked at the little girl as she stared at me shyly.

"Who's this cutie?" I asked leaning down as she blushed and covered her face as me and jasmine giggled at her.

"Well this is my daughter Blessing, Blessing this mommies friend Lonzo" Jasmine said introducing us.

"Hi there cutie, nice to meet you," I said bringing my hand out, she looked at my hand then back at me before cheesing.

"You too," Blessing said as she shook my hand before pulling it away and laying on her head back on Jasmine shoulder.

"Hey, lonzo, we're about to start, get ready!" My coach told me, I nodded my head and turned back towards jasmine who was staring at me, I smirked before leaning down and planting a kiss on her lips which shocked her.

"G-Good luck on your game." She said blushing as she turned around and walked away back to her seat. I chuckled before turning back and heading to my seat sitting beside my teammates as we started to talk about the game.

"Oh my gosh, they are killing the other team, I actually feel bad for them," Shyla said as me and Carmen giggled at her. I glanced down at blessing who seemed to be very intrigued by the game, I smiled before looking up at lonzo who had just made a three pointer.

"Sooo, you and lonzo huh?" Carmen asked out of the blue making my eyebrow arch as I looked at her in confusion.

"Girl when are you going to get that dick? Stop playing with that man feelings and be his girl cause clearly we all see he likes you," Shyla said as she pulled her lipgloss out and putting it on her lips.

"Shyla is right jasmine, you need to put it on him and make him wanna marry you," Carmen said making all of us bust out laughing. I shook my head at their foolishness, suddenly Shyla phone started to ring, Shyla sighed lowly.

"I'll be back guys, gotta answer this call." She said before grabbing her purse and getting up as she made her way out of the arena.

Time was ticking as lonzo had the ball, he served past someone as he threw the ball half court, time seemed to be moving slow as it was only 10 seconds left, right at 2 seconds left the ball went inside and the loud noise had blasted through out the arena as time was up and lonzo team won, all his teammates ran up to him as they picked him up and carried him as they cheered him.

He looked so good as his bright smile glowed, I smiled at him until suddenly my lisp got caught in between my teeth as inappropriate thoughts started to run through my mind as the memories from the other night flooded my mind, the way his hands gripped me, the way his hands touched me, the way he kissed me and made everything feel so good.

"I don't know about you jasmine but I think I'm about to find me a basketball player and become a basketball wife," Carmen said making me laugh, and crazy thing was is that she was actually very serious about it.

suddenly the arena darkened, everyone in the building started to panic and gasp out loud. I pulled blessing closer as it was very hard to see anything, suddenly a Rose was thrown at my foot and a light was shined on me, I looked down confused.

"what the-" I was cut off by the arena lights coming back on, I looked and seen lonzo standing with a bouquet of flowers in his hands. His teammates were standing behind him with a long paper in their hand with the words readings "Will you be the sugar to my coffee jasmine?"

I gasped as i read the sign then at lonzo who looked at me with a nervous smile, he gestured his hand towards me as I placed blessing down and got up as I walked slowly over to him. As I made it up to him he grabbed my hand and looked down at me.

"jasmine, I cant even lie and say that I don't have a strong attraction to you because I do, you are absolutely the most amazing woman I ever met, your perfect in every way and I'm so thankful god made us find each other, so, I was wondering, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked me, the arena then filled with lights from peoples phone. I stared at him shocked as everyone waited for my answer.

"yes, yes I'll be your girlfriend," I said as people cheered, he smiled as he pulled me towards him and smashed his lips on mines as he kissed me passionately, lights flashed on us, not only from people who were recording but blogs and other popular teen rooms.

we pulled away from each other as we stared into each other eyes, this moment couldn't be real, it felt like a fairytale.

C A R M E N

I sat in my chair crying as I just witness lonzo ask jasmine to be his girlfriend, Shyla came back as she sat down in her chair, she looked around and at jasmine and lonzo before her eyes widened.

"are you serious? I'm always missing the good stuff." She rolled her eyes as seconds later she started crying as well, I leaned over and hugged her tightly as we both started to cry with each other.
