"My grandpa talks about your dad all the time. He did save his life you know," Riley says as we dance awkwardly together.

"My dad is a great doctor," I say hoping like hell that the song will end soon. I think I did mention I'm not much of a dancer and while I'm trying to keep a respectable distance between us she keeps invading my personal space. I don't want her to get any ideas...like she has a chance with me. She is a beautiful girl but that's the problem right there. She isn't a he.

"Finally. Nothing like showing up fashionably late," Riley mutters. We move aside to watch as Jagger and an equally stunning woman take over the dance floor. The way they move together makes me wonder if they are lovers. I'm not sure where he ends and she begins as they wow the guests with their perfect moves.

"Who are they?" I ask.

"They are the entertainment, Jagger and Pippa. Both have been working at the Palmilla for the past four summers. They need to stop showing off and work the crowd. They aren't going to book dance lessons that way."

After doing a flashy lift they finally separate and take on new partners.

"You kids having fun?" my dad asks as him and my mom dance by us.

"Yes, but I need to excuse myself. I'm in charge of the games tonight. Would you like to help me out Baby?" Riley asks expectantly.

"Sure he would."

Fuck.

Helping out ends up with me stuck in a box getting sawed in half.

"This may hurt a little," the magician quips as he sticks the blade in. I refrain from rolling my eyes. After I am released from my coffin I am given a rubber chicken for participating and am shooed off the stage. I escape out the back door before they decide to make me disappear.

I choose a different path to explore and end up over in the staff section of the resort. I can hear music pouring out of the cabin up on the hill and see Bobby heading up the path carrying several watermelons.

"Hey! Let me help you with those," I shout running up to him.

Whipping his head around he is startled to see me. "How the hell did you end up over here!? Go back, this isn't for guests."

"I won't tell if you don't" I say taking one of the watermelons from him.

"You can't say a word or Palmilla will kill me. Come on."

Opening the door for him to enter first my ears are immediately assaulted by loud music. Letting my eyes adjust to the dim room they widen taking in all the gyrating bodies. I have always wondered if a gay club would be similar to this. Or maybe I hoped it would be. While most of the couples are boy/girl I do spot a few same sex couples dancing all up on each other.

"Can you imagine them dancing like this in the ballroom? Palmilla would have a heart attack for sure. This might be 2018 but to Palmilla it will always be the olden days," Bobby says handing off the watermelons to a guy behind a bar.

"This isn't exactly kid friendly," I say.

People start shouting and I look to see Jagger and Pippa dancing into the room.

"That's my cousin Jagger," Bobby says pointing to the couple in the middle of the room.

"They look good together," I comment.

"They aren't a couple, not since we were kids."

"Hey cuz! What's he doing here?" Jagger shouts scaring Bobby who had been facing me.

"I helped carry a watermelon," I explain lamely.

His smirk does something funny to my insides. Is it hot in here or is it just me? I need a fan. I go to fan myself with my hand when he grabs it pulling me close. All the breath in my body whooshes out of my mouth as my body connects with his. He smells faintly of sweat mixed with a spicy scent. If he doesn't let me go I'm going to embarrass myself by burying my nose in his chest since I can't reach his neck. I hold back a moan at the feel of his hips bumping into mine.

"Move your hips like this." I'm grateful that he has pushed me back a few inches but I'm still having an oxygen problem as I watch his hips move in a sinful display. It isn't my fault that my eyes have not left the bulge hidden behind his zipper. I'm a healthy eighteen year old boy that happens to like boys. Biting my lip I'm afraid I really am going to embarrass myself as I feel my body heating up. Chuckling like he knows my thoughts he spins me around before walking away. Gasping for breath I run for the door needing to replace his delicious smell with fresh air. I need to stay away from him. Far, far away.
