I awake in a dark room. I look around and see every face of everyone that has died. My heart starts beating fast and I see visions of a town getting wiped out, I start breaking down. I quickly awake to someone shaking me.
"Man you alright you were freaking out in your sleep." Watcher says.
"Just a bad dream." I say.
"Bad dream my ass your heart was racing that's not normal it could of killed you, so you were having a nightmare." James says.
"I usually get these don't worry about it." I say.
Watcher puts his hands on my shoulders.
"We are going to worry like it or not." Watcher says.
I get up and grab my rifle.
"Lets just get going." I say.
"The shore is close there should be a boat there." Watcher says.
We start walking to the dock. I see three Soon Forsaken planes pass over. Explosions go off.
"They are really going at it..." James says.
I start to tear up. Watcher puts his hand on my shoulder.
"We have to go buddy..." Watcher says.
"I-I know... I wish I could've done more..." I say.
"You did all you could." James says.
We start walking to the boat again. Ten minutes later we arrive at the boat. It's a medium sized boat.
"Bit big don't you think?" Nomad asks.
"Only boat here and plus it's going to take two whole days to get to Europe." Watcher says.
We get on the boat. I lean on the railing.
"Watcher remember your driving!" James yells.
"Yeah yeah James." Watcher says.
The girl I saved walks up to me.
"Dan right?" Girl says.
"Yeah." I say.
"Names Maria." Maria says.
"So what do you want?" I ask.
"Nothing thought we could talk." Maria says.
"Sure..." I say.
"You know I haven't properly thanked you yet." Maria says.
"Don't." I say.
James walk up.
"Hey Dan want a beer?" James asks.
"No... I need to keep watch just in case." I say.
"Come on just take a rest for today you over work yourself buddy." James says.
I grab the beer.
"Fine..." I say.
"Hey lighten up buddy." James says.
"I wish I could but I can't." I say.
"Maria don't worry he'll lighten up." James says.
"He's fine." Maria says.
"I'm going to talk to Watcher." I say.
I walk to Watcher.
"Hey Buddy." Watcher says.
"Do you need me to do anything?" I ask.
"There's a radio on the boat see if you can pick up a distress call or a signal of some kind." Watcher says.
