~Thanks to the people who are reading my story, I know there isn't much so far, but trust me I got loads more to come :)Enjoy!! Cheers!~

I wrapped myself in a towel and stepped out of the shower, still not sure about anything that happened last night, I was about to have a melt down.

Distracting myself I looked into medium sized my closet for something to wear. Settling for a pair of white shorts with little rips in them, and a simple black tank top.

Gathering the courage to look in the mirror, I walked to my bathroom mirror. Wiping the fog off the mirror to look at myself a gasp escaped my lips.

My face looked like I was in car accident. I looked horrible. My left eye was swollen pitch black with a purple/red ring surrounding it. My bottom lip was swollen huge and bright red.

I softly ran my fingers over my injures. jumping when I lifted my arm, rolling up my tank top I turned slightly now noticing the huge black bruise that covered the right side of my ribs.

My eyes brimming with tears, as I winced when I put my shirt back down. My body screamed at me with pain, daring me to move a muscle.

I stood there leaning on my sink counter with my hands clutching the counter as my body rocked with tears. How quickly my supposed to be amazing birthday party turned into a horrible nightmare.

I glanced up at myself in the mirror, when I stopped balling my eyes out. I looked like a mess with my hair still soaked and going every which way. The tears some still wet, but now drying on my checks and neck.

My eyes registered movement behind me in the reflection of the mirror. Glancing behind me in the mirror, I screamed bloody murder. Quickly I turned my body towards the man in my room.

I felt my eyes bug out of my head when he moved forward towards me, bringing his hands up. I instinctively brought my arms up to protect my face. Cringing back I waited for him to start hitting me.

But the pain never came. Curious I peaked from between my arms. He had only taken a step toward me and was holding his hands up in surrender.

Slowly bringing my arms down I analyzed him. Sure I should probably be screaming for help at this point, and I was probably stupid for not doing so, but a feeling of comfort came from him.

His atmosphere of his presence made me just stare at him taking him all in, but still keeping my distance. His features were amazing, perfect and bold in their own way, making him an extremely handsome looking man. He stood a tall 6' 1''looking down at my average 5' 6''.

He wore a pair of faded blue jeans with a nice white t-shirt that was snug to his chest and not giving to the imagination. His bright green eyes stood out against his God like gold tan. With his bright brown hair was styled messy in a cute way that fit him perfectly.

He cleared his throat audibly, I glanced down quickly blushing realizing I had been staring. But not before noticing that he cracked a smile at my reaction, his eyes brightened showing off the specks of gold in his eyes. That made my checks burn even brighter.

I looked back up when I could control my color, and begun to ask something and stopped when he interrupted me. Which earned him a glare from me, I hated being interrupted.

He looked like he didn't even notice and continued, "I heard you crying and came to make sure you were okay." By the end of his comment my hard glare softened. His deep hypnotic voice made my heart beat a little faster. Which made my expression change into one of shock and then I went back to my glare but it was still soft.

"Oh" was all I said. So many emotions running threw me at once not being able to put together a reasonable answer. My heart and head collided in an argument.

My heart wanted me to say I was sorry for being so rude and kiss him. And my brain wanted me to smack myself for not acting already. Their was a strange man in my apartment/ bedroom right now. Now matter how unbearably handsome he was, I needed to not act as a moron and eye rape him.

Looking at him uneasily I tried to access my escape route if this encounter turned sour. Facing him slowly I made a hand jester to say he should move out of my way. Not liking my odds if anything did happen, being trapped in my bathroom.

He backed away from the door way and took a step into the other room. I skillfully avoided him and walked into the room. When I was not cornered into my bathroom, I felt more comfortable.

"Who are you?" I said immediately after escaping the bathroom. He shifted from foot to foot. "My name is Matt. And I know your wondering why I'm in your apartment but let me explain, please?"

I took a huge a breath and gave him a sideways glance. I couldn't believe he would think that I would give in like that, but then again maybe I would. "Okay, but you have 5 minutes so you better say what ever you have to say quickly before I call the cops." But inside my heart was tearing at the thought of him getting taken away from me.

He smiled at me like he knew I would give in. But instead of glaring at him, I blushed from butterflies that I got in my stomach from his small smile. I glared at the ground, angry that I blushed at this perfect stranger.

He hadn't said anything so I awkwardly looked back at him. He was staring at my face still watching the red on my cheeks fade away. "Four minutes, and counting." I said in a tone loud enough that if he couldn't hear me before, he could now. He shook his head like he was in a daze and looked back into my eyes.

I looked away still unsure of the feeling I got in my stomach from his mere eye contact. "I don't know how to put this with out sounding like a stalker." he paused and smiled while he ran his fingers threw his hair. I gave him a "are you serious" look and motioned with my hands around my room. "I don't think you can get worse than this." I stated in "duh" tone.

"Well," He started again. "I kind of was watching you the whole night." he glanced up to see my reaction. I masked it so that he would continue. "When you and Tanya came in my club I was notified by my bouncer." He looked at me again still unsure of my feelings.

This time I wasn't able to hold it in. "What do you mean Kyle notified you? You have to be lying, you so do not own The Rage?!" He looked so young to own something of that magnitude. that had to have taken a couple of years. He smiled lightly at my outburst. "I will answer all your questions at the end. okay?" He looked back at me and smiled brightly again.

Once it seemed like I wasn't going to interrupt him again he started again. "Well Greg your friend told me about you and told me you were going to be there last night. he told me "I had to so totally meet you"." I laughed because he mimicked Greg's voice completely. He smiled so brightly when he looked at me again and laughed with me.

We both smiled at each other and then I awkwardly coughed queuing him to continue with the story. he looked away then looked back at me with uncertainty on his face." It's hard to explain without you knowing my true feelings behind my actions. I can show you if you let me." and with that he took a small step towards me.

I flinched back instinctively. He looked away and sighed, after a moment of silence he looked back at me with intensity clear in his eyes, "I would never ever in my life, try to do you any harm." I got too caught up in his eyes to realize he had taken steps toward me and was breath away from me. My heart sped up and my breathing became weak. He smiled down at me like he knew what I was feeling.

He slowly reached out his long arm and gently caressed the side of my face. Fire burned where his fingers grazed my skin. He trailed his finger down to my neck and smiled. I looked at him bewildered. I couldn't speak, I didn't understand what was happening to my body to react like this. After taking a huge breath he placed both hands on either sides on my face and leaned down. My body instinctively closed my eyes, to ready for a kiss. But instead I felt pressure on my forehead. I opened my eyes to see his face very close. His forehead placed gently against mine. The fire burned inside of me screaming with every beat of my heart. I stared into his eyes he looked back sure in his intent. "Don't be scared" he whispered. then his eyes stared to glow gold.
