Ji Sae's P.O.V

31st December 2019...

"See you again." - i said, bowing to Jungkook's hyung. He smiles to me and bow to me.

"See you again, too." - he said. All of us parted ways. My sibling, nephews and nieces with their partners, also part ways. Same goes to my parents in law. It's like a short staycation. We ate a lot, rest, and have a stronger bond with our family. It was fun. Hed came, to drive my parents, Jungkook, Jisoo and me, to my parents house. I rested my head on Jungkook's shoulder while Jisoo is asleep on my lap.

By now is 5 pm. I feel a little tired as well. Used my energy a lot while the 3 of us play in the sea earlier on. We finally reach my parents house. Immediately, i bring Jisoo to my old room. I lay him down on my bed, surrounding pillows all around him so he wouldn't fall. I walk downstairs. "Oh my god." - I heard Jungkook said.

"What?"

"I left my phone. In the chalet." - he said.

"Ah Jeon Jungkook, why are you forgetful?" - i asked, with a frown.

"Go and take it." - appa said.

"Lets go." - i said to Jungkook. He nods. He seems worried as well. We got in our car hurriedly and drive back to the chalet.

"Ah why are you forgetful?" - i nagged. And i keep on nagging. I'm tired and i wanna rest but since Mr Jeon forgets his phone, i have to follow him. Aish. Jungkook keeps quiet while my mouth keeps blabbering.

In 20 minutes, i shut my mouth and cross my arms. We are reaching the chalet but Jungkook drives straight. "Ya, you should turn to the left, not straight." - i said.

"I know." - he said. I frown. He take out something in his pocket and show it to me. His phone.

"What are you trying to do?" - i asked with a frown. He smiles.

"Well, i booked another chalet. Just for the 2 of us." - he said, still with the smile.

"What for??? I am tired. I don't wanna play anymore. I want to sleep. JEON JUNGKOOK!!" - I whined and shouted his name.

"No complains. You'll get all the rest you want later on. Our clothes are all packed, so no worries." - he said. I roll my eyes. Soon, we arrive to another chalet. Its smaller than the other one we had. This one is just 1 floor. We got in the chalet, and i got amaze by how huge it was inside. I mean the place is spacious. I saw the bed, and i smile immediately. I run towards the bed and jump on it. I flop down, curling myself and close my eyes.

10 pm...

I heard a loud thud, making me wake up immediately. I hurriedly stand up, to find Jungkook. "Baby?" - i called, while still searching for him. I walk to the balcony, seeing Jungkook holding onto a balloon that seem to pop, which cause the thud. He gives me a shy smile.

"Hi. Sorry to wake you up." - he said. Ah why are you so cute?

"Its okay. What are you up to, with these balloons?" - i asked. I walk next to him.

"Nothing. Just to make the night fun. There's gonna be a countdown, and i got fireworks. And i got some good food to BBQ." - he said, smiling wide to me.

"I ate a lot yesterday. You're really trying to make me fat huh." - i said. He giggles.

"I'll take a shower first. After that we can celebrate the New Year together." - i added. Jungkook nods. I walk in, going to the bathroom to take my shower.
