Ch. 1 damn

Beep beep beep beep

The sound of an alarm, it continued to ring in your ear as you slept. The sound annoyed you but you needed it to wake up for work. Slowly you reach for the alarm and press the snooze button to silence it, stretching yourself to start the yet another brand new day. You decide to put on your black long sleeve button up with your grey vest over it, along with your favorite red with black polka dot skirt (it reminded you of the pin up days which you loved) and your black combat boots. In honesty, you always have been a bit of a Tom boy but also loved vintage clothing as well..pin ups and greasers and all sorts of different time periods. Turning around you saw yourself in the mirror, you saw your bits of extra meat on your stomach and thighs as well as a little bit on your arms.. you smile as you see your curves. Everything you wore were what you wore to work at the library almost everyday but in different styles and colors of course.

I like to be a bit a rebel with my clothing..even if librarians don't really wear the boots and such. I feel...myself and I like this.

"Hey (y/n) come on let's go nerd!" You laughed at your big sister Skylar as you hear her cooking in your kitchen down the hall.

"Yes yes I'm coming sis" you shyly walk out towards your sister and show her you outfit, as usual she would smile at you outside but on the inside she would just wish you would change yourself up a bit more. But knowing your 'condition', it's not easy to do so she smiles and complains about it later to her boyfriend.

"Alright well I made you some French toast and some scrambled eggs so eat and later on we are going to be doing something different for a change what do you say?" Skylar asks you As she leans on the counter while you have a foodgasm.

"Well I thought we would still be doing our movie night?" You ask shyly. You really loved watching movie nights with Skylar, they were the fun days where you could both talk without much arguments.

"We can do that another night, I really want you to try to be out of your shell tonight and I promise I'll be right here so try this once pretty please?" She pleads as you continue to eat.

"It only depends on what's going to happen and where are we going. You know I don't like not knowing, then I get all scared of not knowing what's going to happen sis"

"Sorry but i can't tell you..but I will say is it involves some dancing and a lot of people but I won't leave you okay?" You think about it, you did like to dance but only at home or with people you knew. This new place didn't sit well with you especially with you not knowing even where it is or if it's safe.

I mean what if someone date rapes Skylar or even me?

I'll have to guard our drinks.. but then she's a grown woman she can watch her own..

But what if someone shoots up the place??? I don't know how to fight back if necessary!

But I do want to get my sister to get along better with me..so maybe once wouldn't hurt. I've just gotta remember she'll be there and I'll be okay..I hope

"Oh alright fine but you cannot absolutely positively leave me alone okay?" You sister Skylar squeals in excitement. She knows you'll hate her for this but she really wants you to be more outgoing.

'Oh my dear (y/n) my weird but loving little sister...you're in for a treat'

"What for real??? Honestly I don't get Skylar sometimes" your best friend of ten years Blu rants as she rolls her brown eyes at the ceiling while you and her talk during lunch break.
