Your POV:
It was late at night and you were reading when there was a ping resounding on you window that overlooked the street that you lived on.
You set your book down on your bed and struggled to get up because your arms were numb.
You walked over and peeked out from behind the curtain.
Matt, your boyfriend of 2 years, was throwing pebbles at your window trying to get your attention.
You smiled and opened the window, and in seconds, he was on your roof climbing in your room.
As soon as the window was closed, you turned around and there he was, he picked you up and pushed you down onto the bed.
He stamped his lips with yours and you did the same right back.
His fingers got lost in your hair, and your hands were on either side of his neck.
He sat up and you straddled him on your bed, feeling electric shocks each and every time he caressed your skin.
Footsteps then pounded their way up the stairs and you froze.
They were getting closer and that's when you shoved Matt into the closet.
"Be quiet!" You scolded him before running back to your bed and grabbing your oh-so-interesting book off of the floor just in time to have your mom walk calmly into the room.
"I forgot to tell you that tomorrow night Matt's parents and Matt are going to have dinner with us. Just thought I'd let you know."
"Thanks mom." You nodded and went back to "reading".
She smiled showing her pearly whites and closed the door softly with a click.
You let out a sigh of relief and smushed your face in your bedding.
Matt quietly opened the door and peeked his head out and gave you a look that said, "Is it clear?"
You smiled and nodded.
He grabbed your hand and opened up your window.
Apparently he set up a blanket on your roof outside of your window that you two laid on for the rest of the night.
A few hours later, you yawned and that was Matt's signal to leave.
He kissed you goodnight under the stars and climbed down the tree.
. . .
[MORNING]
You're eating a bowl of cereal at the kitchen island and your mom has her back to you cooking the eggs in the pan.
"Did you and Matt have fun last night?" She asked and caused you to cough on your lucky charms.
"What? I didn't.. he wasn't... we weren't..." You sputtered out.
She just chuckled and said, "It's alright. I'm not mad at you. You know, your dad and I used to do that same thing back in the day..." She trailed off and sighed happily.
"And with that note, I'm outta here." You said, getting up and rising out your bowl.
"Hope you two had fun!" She yelled and you chucked to yourself.
We most certainly did...
