"RUN!" Nico yelled to Percy and Annabeth as the three got cornered in a cave off near the Greek Camp.
"Where NOT leaving you!" Annabeth yelled back to Nico who was defending his wounded friends from a pack of hell hounds. Percy was sitting up against a rock with Annabeth in his arm. He had a huge gash on his hairline and Annabeth had twisted her ankle so badly there was a huge whelp on the side of it.
"GO! NOW!" Nico snarled back at her. Nico seemed to be untouched.
"No." Percy managed to spit out. Nico realized he was too weak to to try and shadow travel all three of them out.
"I'll be right behind you! I promise!" He told them not taking his eyes off the four hell hounds in front of them. Annabeth nodded and tried lifting up Percy who would not get up. She winced and fell back into his arms.
"It-it hurts to much to walk or even get up." She cried. Percy then pulled himself up finally hearing Annabeth in such distress gave him the power he needed.
"It's ok babe. I've got you." He picked her up and ran out of the small cave and back to camp.
Nico kept his promise and ran after them. Unfortunately one of the faster hounds caught up to him though and pounced on him. He fell unconscious on impact.
