( pic had nothing to do with this thought it was cute )

As we pull into the school parking lot, I can't help but feel the dread beginning to build up inside of me. I wanted to go home, just like any other person that came to school this morning. Just the thought of having to deal with the constant bullying, the teachers overloading me with stupid, useless homework, the disgusting slop they called food, the stacks of books that were to soon surround me. I lean back in my seat and groan.

“Is it too late to turn around and go home?” I ask as I close my eyes.

Wishing and hoping Jasper might say no, but all I heard was a small laugh come from him. The car slowly moved forward as to not hit anyone.

“Hey Jasper...how long have we been friends?” I ask as I watch some of the other kids walk up to the school.

I just couldn't help but wonder if we have been friends for as long as some of the other kids here at school. I look over at Jasper seeing him thinking about the answer. I just chuckle and grab my backpack.

“Don't worry, you don't have to think so hard about it. I can see smoke coming out your ears.”  I laugh a little bit as we find a parking space.

I take one last deep breath before I get out the car slinging my backpack over my shoulder.

“And we have now landed in hell, which pit of hell we will go to...that's for today to decide,” I said as I shut the car door and start to walk towards the building.

I took a glance back at Jasper who was right behind me. I have come to call this normal, seeing how he is always behind me, everyday and everywhere.

“Hopefully today won't be so bad, Cable.” I heard Jasper say behind me.

I can't help but smirk and shake my head as I turn around to look at him,

“Everyday is hell at school. The only good part about it is you, Alice, and Lunch. “

I watch Jasper roll his eyes at me. I turn around to walk into the school but stop as I see the school’s football team or, as I know them, the local school bullies that seem to be devoted to making my everyday life at school a living hell. “Oh, great. “ I mutter to myself as I force my body to move forward. I try my best to ignore them but I know the moment they spot me the bullying would begin.

I could hear Jasper’s footsteps speeding up, trying to catch up with me before I got to the doors which weren't going to happen since I was in a rush to get inside and avoid them. I was only a few steps away when the door is blocked by none other than Chad Willmen, the star football player and leader of the bullies. I growl under my breath as I look up at him. Chad was, of course, taller and stronger than me but it didn't stop me from picking a fight with him every now and then.

“Move out my way, Ogre,” I said annoyed already.

I cross my arms, waiting for a comeback from him. He just smirks and leans down closer to me,

“That's funny coming from someone that's as small as a Pokémon,” he said pushing my shoulder.

I could feel my anger growing, I just hated Chad and his crew. I feel Jasper pull me away from them and step in front of me, spiking my anger just a bit but I hold my tongue about it. Jasper has always acted like a big brother to me and tries his best to protect me all the time like now. I just watch them as I know there would be no way for me to get it out of Jasper's head not to.

“Come on Chad. Do you honestly get to start this early? We just woke up fully and I'm pretty sure you fighting before tonight's game might ruin your chance to win the game tonight.” Jasper said patting Chad on the shoulder.
