Chapter 2: Training

~Touma's POV~

After the slime villain incident, I went on my usual days of studying and training at home. I haven't talked to Izumi in a while, he says he is also busy training so I left him alone so he could focus. I was playing my games with Hina on the couch today and suddenly I heard the door open.
Ritsu: (Seiji got home from work earlier than the usual time.)
Hina: Welcome back Sei-chan!
Ritsu: *yawns* Hey Seiji.
Seiji: Ritsu, I want to talk about U.A.
Ritsu: Kay, Hina go to your room.
Hina: Okay~
Hina ran away while Seiji sat down on the couch with me.
Seiji: So, I talked to the principal and you could go through with recommendation.
Ritsu: Really? But...
Seiji: But what?
Ritsu: *yawns* I promise Izuku I would take the exam with him....

I still talk to Izuku, we call each other whenever we can and hang out whenever he is free from school and training. I visit him when school is over and walk him home, I also try to stop Katsuki from bullying him and he's always pissed off when I show up. We "argue" when we see each other, by argue I mean him yelling at me while I reply with a monotonous voice. Eventually as days pass on, he started to yell less at me and started having a normal conversation with me. I think he's warming up to me, I slowly try to be his friend. He isn't that bad once you get to know him but I just don't like the way he treats Izuku whenever he's around. I remember the moment when Izuku asked me...

~Flash back~

Izuku and I were walking to his house. Izuku said his mom wanted to have me over for dinner and Seiji was cool with it so I said yes.
Midoriya: Hey, the exams for U.A. are coming up.
Ritsu: Yeah, you excited?
Midoriya: Definitely! I've been training for it.
Ritsu: I can see that.
I poked his arm, which was more muscular than when I met him.
Ritsu: Your training has payed off, you seem stronger than before.
Midoriya: Yeah, I have been getting help.
Ritsu: Help? From who?
Midoriya: U-Um, my new mentor! I can't say who it is since he doesn't like to give out his personal information!
Ritsu: That's alright, I just hope you could let me meet him one day.
Midoriya: Y-Yeah! Me too.
Ritsu: Since your getting stronger, want to have a sparring match soon? It could help you with training.
Midoriya: Really! I have to ask my mentor but I'm sure they'll say yes!
Ritsu: I'll look forward to it.

We eventually got to his house. We were both greeted by his mom and she let us in.
Mom: It's good to see you again Ritsu! Why don't you hang out in Izuku's room while I make dinner, okay?
Ritsu: *yawns* Okay~
Midoriya: Lets go Ritsu!
   We walked to his room to reveal a lot of All Might items in his room.
Ritsu: I still can't believe you idolize All Might this much.
Midoriya: W-Well, he's my hero.
Ritsu: Lets play some video games while we wait for your mom.
   We set up his system and started playing against each other. I was winning while Izuku was struggling. I beat him once again and he sighs in frustration.
Midoriya: How are you so good at this game? You never played this before.
Ritsu: When you grew up your whole life at home, you could learn some skills and tricks from playing video games for at least... *yawns* 7 to 8 hours a day.
Midoriya: 7 to 8 hours a day!!
Ritsu: Then I sleep about over 11 hours of sleep because of my quirk.
Midoriya: Your life is so unhealthy.
I shrug at his comment and we continue on playing. As we were playing Izuku suddenly asked me something.
Midoriya: Um Ritsu, do you want to come to the entrance exam with me? I-I like to take it with you, i-if that alright.
Ritsu: Sure, *yawns* I'll gladly go with you.
Mom: Dinner is ready! Come down!
Midoriya: Lets go downstairs.
We headed downstairs to eat dinner. After that, I stayed over for the night, sleeping on the floor with a futon.

~Flash back end~

Ritsu: So...can I take it with Izuku-kun?
Seiji: I have no problem with that, if you don't pass this exam you'll still be able to go through with the recommendation. Maybe this test will help you train.
Ritsu: Also, I have visit Izuku tomorrow at the beach, we're gonna be sparring together.
Seiji: I'll call Miyano and Echizen to take care of Hina then.
Ritsu: *yawns* I haven't seen them in a long time.
Seiji: Take the katana I made you, you should practice using that more.
Seiji's quirk is making weapons out of material he touches. So if he gets something iron, he could makeshift an iron sword. He works with heroes by making weapons to adjust for their quirks and he made me many special weapons. My favorite is the katana, if I infuse my quirk with it, I could input out elements in the blade. So far I had fire, lightning, ice, water and vines. I get tired if I do use it for a long period of time.
