Chapter 7: The Hunter After Me

I haven't talked to my mom in two weeks and my visits became short with the guys. I changing or I think I am. I'd rather live a vampires life then a human life I've seen video of people from our coven fighting hunters which reminds me a war that was raging with such silence. I thought I'd be safe from hunters but I was sorely mistaken. I was put one day looking around the new town I was in and a bullet flew past my head and I quickly turn around. A girl with red hair was looking at me holding two pistols fitting at me again as I put my hand out and my sword appeared as I looked at her. "State your name and what you want" I said I wasn't scared ok maybe a little but not much. "I'm scarlet Huntington and I'm here to kill you vampire" she held a pistol up "I don't think so I'm part human as well". She scoffed "as if I care you were put on my target list so I'm here to end your life". At this point I was a little more scared as she fired the pistol at me and I used my sword to deflect the bullets she fired. I have to find a way out of this before I get hurt. I quickly distracted her and vanished into the shadows and home to my father. He was worried when I can home panting and out of breath and I told him what happened. "Well Eve you'll need more training with that sword of yours" Eve is my nickname now. I nodded my head and went to my room to finish catching my breath.
