Dear Ocean,
Life started out rough for me. When I was a kid, my parents had been taken away by some mysterious creatures of the sea. They don't have fins nor gills but are very adept in cruising through the ocean. They have four slim limbs, a tiny head, and a lanky body. I still remember the day. The last thing I saw was a supple and plaid entangled material; material much like the ones that are almost always tied to a sunken heavy metal shaped just like me. The entanglement captured all whom I know and had lifted them out of the waters, much like a powerful predator of the sea engulfing everything in its wake. I have never seen another one like me ever since.
But I am thankful for I have now been among new friends. They might not look like me nor behave like me, but I know they accepted me. They may be peculiar for they just float and go along with the currents. Some of them even looks like my old jellyfish friends.
I felt threatened at first when the same mysterious creature decided to swim along with me. But I hold no grudge for I know its just indulging the beauty of the sea with me, of course, along with my newfound friends.
