Chapter 8

Liv's P.O.V

Today me and Liam were going back to school.He finally recovered from his sickness,which meant that I had to stop procrastinating going back to school.The fact that I told him I loved him yesterday still embarrasses me.I do love him but it seems to fast to say that,but he loves me so it's okay.I had to walk a small bit to school so that nobody would suspect anything.When I got into the school everyone stopped what they were doing and watched my every move.I froze under their stares.Why were they looking at me?All of a sudden everybody started to clap.I was so confused.I checked behind me to see if some celebrity was behind me.Nobody was behind me."What is going on?"I asked unsure of my voice.One of the jocks stepped forward and grabbed my hand kissing it."Liv we are so sorry.Nobody knew of your home life.We are sorry of how we acted.We always thought you wanted to be left alone.Please forgive us all.We will be there for you and you can sit with us if you want."I was furious but relieved."Ok thanks but what the hell!You all never talked to me before but all of a sudden you know my secret about my home life and now you want to be my friend."The jock who held my hand stepped back.His name was Brad."We are really sorry.And wow I can't believe I'm going to tell you this but Liv I have always liked you.To be honest you aren't like most girls.You are unique.So will you be my girlfriend?"My eyes widened at his confession."Brad I can't.That was sweet but I'm so sorry."He nodded understandingly.I looked around to see everybody shocked,especially Liam who had just walked out of his classroom."Brad we can be friends though."He smiled and nodded.The sound of Liam's voice broke everybody's attention on me."Ok get to class everybody."They all scurried away.

Time flew by and it was time to go to my last class with Liam.I got there early as always."I saw what you did today."He said once I approached his desk.I nodded.He stood up and hugged me while whispering in my ear."I love you Liv."I smield and pulled away."I love you too.How about we go out on a real date?"He shrugged his shoulders."I was thinking the same thing.I guess great minds do think alike.Tonight?"I shook my head."Homework."He frowned but I knew he understood."How about Saturday?"Instead of nodding I looked around and stood on my tiptoes to peck his lips.The kiss would have lasted longer if we hadn't been at school.The bell rang and the class piled up.I noticed Brad walk up to him.They began to talk and Liam's eyes widened.He looked at me and gave me a sorry look.Once Brad left the room Liam looked distant from the class,like his mind was somewhere else.He was thinking about something.

Liam assigned us a project about wildlife.He let us choose our own partners.Considering my only close friends were Amy and Luke,I just sat there.Liam didn't notice so I kinda just did nothing until Lola,one of the popular girls came up to my desk.I kinda just smiled not knowing what to say.Never had she ever talked to me so when my secret is out she wants to be partners."Hi Liv.I saw you didn't have a partner and neither do I so.."I answered before she could finish her sentence."Yeah sure."So we spent the last hour of school working on the project.I would steal glances at Liam to see him lost in thought.He looked upset and nervous.When the end of school approached the students hurried to leave.I stayed behind with Liam to talk about his behavior."So Liv,I'm really sorry but somebody has decided to let you move in with them."My eyes almost buldged out of their sockets."Liam what about us?Who the hell wants me to live with them?I'm fine with living with you plus I'm eighteen so I can live wherever."He nodded."I know but it's not safe for you to stay with me.Look you can live with me once you graduate.For now I think it would be better if we don't see each other okay.That date I talked about,yeah it can't happen.I love you."Right there my heart broke.The one guy I went to everything for is leaving me."If you loved me you wouldn't be doing this.So was I just some stunt?You've lied to me haven't you."He shook his head."Look that student saw you kiss me okay.He's threatening to tell.We can't do this anymore.I'm sorry."With that he walked out right passed me.It took everything in me not to cry.I still don't know who I'd be living with.Why does my life suck so much?Damn I still have to go face him to get my stuff.
