The God of Mischief

*Tony's P.O.V.*

Why did I, Tony Stark, feel jealous? To be honest I'd like to know the answer to that question too. I'd never felt like that about anyone. Most of my relationships, if you could even call them that, are one night stands.

So, why did I feel jealous?

*Kendall's P.O.V.*

"Hey Belle!" I said, walking over to my friend from high school. She looked over at me and smiled. We talked for a while, about life after high school, where we were going to college, the normal things we usually talk about. I was going to college in England for a semester or two with Vikki.

Then Kayla walked up to us.

"Hey," She started. "I know that you loved The Avengers and all a couple of years ago but how did you get them to come to your party?"

I smiled to myself. I had never told anybody about me being abducted by S.H.I.E.L.D. They just knew that I had been a big fan of The Avengers. They all thought that I had been on a foreign exchange program for a year and hadn't told any of them about it. Earlier my parents had told me that if anyone asked they had gotten The Avengers to come because they had heard they would be in town.

"Good question," I told her "I had no idea this was happening until you saw me walk through the gate." She nodded, still seeming confused. I chuckled and turned back to Belle.

"So, where's Carlitos?" I asked her about her boyfriend. Carlos was his real name but we all called him Carlitos.

She laughed.

"He's working. But, he told me to tell you sorry that he couldn't make it."

"Well, you can tell him that I'm VERY disappointed in him!" I said putting my hands on my hips and trying to act serious. She cracked a smile and we both started laughing.

"CAKE TIME!" I heard Tony shout from the other side of the yard. Belle pushed me towards him. I finally pushed my way through the crowd and thought I was seeing double. There were two Tony's standing side-by-side. The only difference was that one was holding a cake that read Happy Birthday, Kendall and it wasn't moving.

"What the-" I started to say. The real Tony laughed.

"Kendall, meet the life model decoy of Tony Stark." I hugged him and said thanks.

As they all started singing Happy Birthday I closed my eyes a smiled.

"Make a wish!" I heard Clint shout as they were finishing.

I wish that something BIG would happen to me, I thought as I drew in a deep breath and blew out the candles. Everyone started clapping as I grinned. My mom came and started cutting up the cake and handing it out. I walked over to Tony who was hanging out with all of The Avengers.

"Hey guys." I said smiling. "What's up?"

"Oh, nothing." Clint and Tony said together as they both smirked and looked down at their plates.

"Ok then..." I said slowly turning around and walking away.

"Not so fast!" I heard Clint shout as Tony grabbed me from behind and held me tight.

"What's going on?!" I laughed struggling against Tony's tight grip on me. I saw Clint and Natasha walking towards me with their cake plates raised and loaded with frosting.

They were about to throw their plates at me when a flash of lightning shot across the sky. They all grew still and watched the front of the yard.

"Uh oh." I heard Clint say.

"Looks like Point Breaks back." Tony said.

"What? Who?" I asked him as a man with blonde shoulder length hair strode into the yard. He had a strange type of armor on with a long red cape.

"Where is Nick Fury. I must talk to him at once." He stated loudly. The whole yard grew quiet as Fury walked up to the blonde man. I turned to Stark.

"Who's he?" I asked him.

"That's Thor," Banner started explaining. "He's not exactly from around here. He's from another world. Called Asgard."

"Asgard. I've heard of it." I said nodding thoughtfully. "Is that the guy that crashed down to Earth and leveled a town? His girlfriend is Jane Foster I think, right?" I asked. Banner nodded.

"How did you know all that?" He asked me. I smirked.

"I did my research." I told him. I looked over towards where Thor and Nick were. Nick looked furious while Thor looked like he was trying to explain something.

A few minutes later, Fury and Thor walked over to us.

"What's going on, Director?" Natasha asked.

"Loki's planning on attack this place." Thor said looking grim. "He heard that you were all here and now he's coming to attack."

"Would he really be that idiotic to come here? Now?" Clint asked. Thor nodded.

"Wait, guys." I said. "Who's this Loki guy? And why is he after you all?" I asked them. Thor looked at me.

"Who are you?" He asked me.

"Kendall Porter. Stark's old friend. Now, do you mind explaining all this to me?" I asked. Thor looked at Fury. Fury nodded.

"She's on our side. You can tell her." He told him. Thor opened his mouth to speak but Stark cut him off.

"Kendall, why don't we go inside. It'll be a lot simpler to explain all of this." He said. I nodded and led them into my house and took a seat at the dining room table. Nat and Stark sat next to me while Thor sat across from us. Fury, Banner, Clint, and Steve all remained standing.

"Alright," I said. "Explain."

"Loki is my brother. Well, my adopted brother. We thought him gone until a few months ago." Thor started.

"He's recently started attacking the Earth. He wants to rule us. He wants to be king." Stark continued. I Looked at them.

"So, some wacko from space wants to take over Earth?" Fury nodded. "Can't you guys just stop him? I mean your the Avengers!" I yelled.

"I'm afraid that it won't be that easy. We think that Loki is trying to bring his army to Earth. If he does that, just us alone won't be able to handle it. We need some help." Fury said.

"So, what are you saying?" I asked him.

"What we're saying is that we want you to-" Fury was cut short by a loud bang that shook the house and a flash of bright light. There was screaming outside. Everyone jumped up out of their seats. Clint ran over to the window. He peeked outside and then spun around on his heel.

"He's here."

A/N: Finally! This chapters up! Woo hoo! Sorry it took so long :c I tried and tried to get it up but I couldn't. And then the other day I went to go look at the last chapter I posted and all the comments gave me the motivation to finish writing this! I'm going to go start working on he next chapter hopefully I can post it soon! I know I said this in the last chapter but something big WILL happen in the next chapter!
