(Y/N)'s POV

I woke up that morning feeling wide awake, for once. I checked the time, 7:26. Normally Emma would be up and about at 6:00, but due to the move, she may have slept in five minutes or thirty more minutes. It's pretty traditional for Emma and I to go to get coffee together while Lydia sleeps in. So to make it feel a little more like home for Emma, I decided it was best to see if she was up, and ready to go get coffee.

I entered the main area of the apartment to see Emma relaxing on the couch (without make-up in her PJ's), watching some TV show on Netflix I'd never heard of before.
"Mornin' Em!" I exclaim rather happily.
"Morning (Y/N), what are you doing up? Normally your up later?" A rather confused Emma asked.
I shrugged, "I honestly don't know, but seeing as I'm up wanna go get coffee together?"
Emma's face lit up after I said we should get coffee together.
"Yes! We haven't done in that in like, forever! I'm going to go get ready, you should do the same!" Emma then rushed in to her room to get ready. I then took her advice and headed off to take a shower.

After I'd finished getting ready - make-up and all - I saw Emma waiting by the door, on her phone.
When she looked up she said, "Ready to go?"
"Yeah let's go." I say smiling and grabbing my keys, before heading out.

Time Skip

After spending 5 minutes trying to find the coffee shop with Emma's awful directions and Google Maps, we finally made it. It was a cosy atmosphere in the shop. Wooden floors and cream walls with a few paintings here and there and brown leather chairs, which seemed very comfy. Acoustic guitar music playing in the background, which only helped to add to the atmosphere. Only a few people were in there, and one person was in line and was currently ordering.
"This place is so much better than the crappy coffee shop we had back home!" Emma exclaimed.
"Hey! I used to work there!" I defended the little corner cafe.
"Even you admitted that the pay was awful and the other people there was terrible at their job. They could never get my order right!" Emma sassily responded.
"Fair enough, but you are right this place is really nice." I say before we are asked by the barista what would we like. I order a cappuccino while Emma orders a latte. Once we get our drinks and they've been payed for, we sit at a table by a window.

"So," Emma begins, "What were you and that new neighbour of ours talking about?" She says, clearly wanting to find out about his personality to see if he's 'good enough' for me.
"His name is Liam and he has a dog named Link-" I get interrupted by Emma.
"Aw Link! That's a cute name for a dog!" She squealed.
"And he's a YouTuber we know, HBomb94 ring any bells?" I say, with a dorky smile slapped onto my face.
"No way."
"Yes way."
"Oh my god! Maybe we could meet Shubble and Parker and Graser and--" Emma excitedly rambled on.
"Chill Emma! We just met Liam, relax! Anyway how have you been handling everything?"
"What do you mean?" Emma curiously asked.
"Well the move. We practically ripped you away from the place you felt happiest, how are you handling it?" Its true, England was Emma's place. She loved it more than Lydia and I combined, she probably loved it more than anyone who lived in England. Emma planned on living in England, but when me and Lydia wanted to leave for LA, Emma didn't want to be left behind, so she came along. As much as she didn't want to come, she gave up everything for us. She knew we wouldn't survive without her, so we will be eternally grateful that she decided to pack up and come along.
"Its been really hard. Leaving everyone and our tiny perfect town is hard. But I know I can always come back, and it's not like I'm never coming back ever, so its okay. After all you know I'd follow you and Lydia to the end of the world if I had to. Also I could get some pretty cool stories from this place, I mean come on it's LA! It'll also help out with our channels so it's a very smart move that I'm willing to do." Emma took a sip of her cappuccino after her confession. "Also if I ever get married and have kids, I'll defiantly go live in England... If I ever get married." We both laughed. Emma is gorgeous, but boys are afraid she's deny them, which most of the time she does because she doesn't want to be in a relationship.
"If you get married and have kids, me and Lydia would be aunties, right?"
"Duh! You both are my sisters from another mother, but sometimes you do act like your my kids." Emma responded, annoyed at the fact that she was a mother to me and Lydia sometimes.
"Yeah your right on that, mum." I smirk. Emma sighed and took a big gulp of her cappuccino. She did say it after all so she couldn't really retaliate to it.
"So, are you going to get a boyfriend while your here?" Emma said desperately trying to change the subject, which I let her.
"Well they'd have to pass the Emma and Lydia boyfriend test, but maybe. It's early days, Emma, we've only been here one day and your trying to set me up with the neighbour. I am only 22, I have awhile." I take a sip of my latte.

"Heh your right on the Emma and Lydia test. But yeah I know its early days, it's just that me and Lydia want to see you with someone you deserve. Your a wonderful person (Y/N) and you deserve someone who makes you feel like a queen, because you are worth it." After Emma's statement, I feel a lot better about myself than I have in a long time.

I check the time, 9:43.
"We should probably leave with coffee for us and Lydia." I say, looking at my empty cup.
"I'll go order you a latte, cappuccino for me and an americano for Lydia." Emma smiled before getting up and going to order the coffee to take-away.
I look around the shop and see someone I recognise, Liam, sitting on a table nearby. Even though I'm very socially awkward, I decide to go and say hi - after all he is my neighbour.
"Hey Liam!" I say chirpily.
"Hey (Y/N), how are you?" Liam smiled.
"I'm good, a bit weary from unpacking and decorating, but good."
"I forgot to say yesterday if you need help with anything, like where things are or help with unpacking, I'm always happy to help." He said.
"Thank you so much, but I think we're good, I'll let you know if we need any more help. But thank you." I say, with a big goofy smile plastered onto my face.
"Hey (Y/N), who's this?" Emma said with three cups of coffee in her hands. She hands me the one with the Latte in.
I take the coffee "This is Liam, our neighbour."
"Hi it's nice to meet you." He says.
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Emma." She smiles at Liam, keeping her fangirling composed. An awkward silence fell over the three of us.
"Well we'd best get back, we need to record a video Emma!" I say before grabbing Emma's wrist and waving at Liam.
"Bye!" Emma said before I pulled her out of the coffee shop and away from that awkward encounter. I sometimes really hate being socially awkward.
