My Princess

Part 11

I slept last night and I can come in now.

At first I was scared he wouldn't want me because I'm just a simple peasant.

But I know he is mine and he needs me.

I know nothing of him but I feel his pain.He needs me and nobody will stop me from coming to him.

Just one more mile.I smell him in the castle.

I try to go in but the guards push me out.

I try to sneak in through the maids entrance but my hair is too matted and smell too bad.

I can't even pass for a maid.

I push through the entrance the second time around.

I will fight to see my mate.

"Please oh please let me in.My mate needs me!"

The guards responded with a curse and many insults my way.But I don't care.My mate needs me.I must be making so much noise the whole kingdom could hear me.

Then people started walking to see what the noise was.

I must be making so much noise.

I have been summoned.

That's when I saw my mate.I cried.

"My Prince, my mate, I am sorry I've kept you waiting so long! I heard of your search and knew you were mine. So from distant lands I came, but along the way, I had to fight many battles and walk many miles. My Prince, my mate, my love, won't you ever forgive me?"

Silence.

I look up to his handsome face.It's very blank and suddenly he gets up. He's  walking over here.

Is he mad?Is he going to send me away?

All my worries vanished when he took me in his arms.

Happiness soared through me when he kissed my forehead.Then he spoke.

"My dear don't cry, for you are my princess and I love you so. Do not worry about the past, because for the future we will grow... together. Be my bride, be my mate, come princess. You may be late, but now you are here and I love you so."

He kissed me and it feels amazing.

I have my Prince and he has his princess.

and we'll live happily ever after
