We were about an hour through the drive when we finally entered Kenton's pack's land. I had fallen asleep with ease, due to the fact i was exhausted and in the arms of Kenton.

I was awoken when the car practically wracked the curb to the entrance of an old, worn down gas station. "Slow the hell down," Kenton growled at Jack, his arms securing even tighter around me.

"Sorry, sorry." Jack apologized quickly, piering over the dash board as he drove up beside the building and put the car in park.

I sprung up into a sitting position, pushing my hands against Kenton's chest as I briskly scanned the area like a nervous phyco.

Wolves. I was searching for the beasts.

"Your fine, calm down." Kenton said, taken by surprise. I lost balance and my hands repeatidly pulled at his shirt as I whirled my head around in search for any threat, even though we were safe in the car.

He tried prying my hands from his chest, while Nate and Jack exited the car. I ignored the feel of Kenton's hands working at my own and my heart pounded when I couldn't find Nate.

Where was he? How'd he disappear?

The door opened and like the animal I suddenly was, my eyes found the exit in an instant. "Shut the door!" Kenton yelled the exact moment I leaped from his hold and plummeted out the door. Jack scarcely caught me, keeping my head from hitting the ground.

I felt completely different. I felt wrong. The only thing i was able to compare myself to was an animal. I had been sorrounded by them for nearly two hours and I was already losing my mind.

My knee collided with the car and my arm landed painfully on the concrete, sliding out from underneath me. I ignored the pain and forced Jack off of me, my resistance driving him hurdling into the car door, my reaction unexpected.

I was up and moving faster than I could take in. The blood rushed to my head as my vision blurred with black splotches, causing me to lose balance as I made a break for the trees across the empty lot.

The shouting, which came from behind my retreating figure, reminded me we may not have been alone at that gas station but at that point I couldn't have cared less. I was going home. Or at least I thought I was.

Two arms latched around my torso, pulling me against them and lifting my feet from the ground.

Devastation fled through me and my stomach sunk, sending a wave of nausea clashing right through my vulnerable body.

I threw my head back, hoping it conflicted a bruis to whoever's face it was. My hands tried tearing their arms from around my stomach, but the searing pain shooting through my head was only growing stronger.

The tears began building in frustration and I screamed for anyone to help escape that nightmare. My screams were murder like and dramatically overreacted, trying to gain attention of anyone sane enough to tell I didn't want that.

My heart raced, beating out of my chest and taking my hope with it. My throat burned and cracked as I begged to be released.

An angry looking Kenton was whose arms i was pushed into next. I saw then, it was Nate who had swept me up and saved the day for his dear Alpha.

I glared at Nate, teary eyed and pathetic, thrashing against Kenton, giving up being my last option. "Let go of me!" I tried constraining. I clawed at his flesh, my body squirming in his hold.

He had no trouble holding me against his chest, feet hovered over the ground as he angrily made way to the car. He roughly dropped me onto the seat, staring down at me with his golden eyes, canines on show. He was furious. As was I, however.
