Part 10

No POV:

Everyone was chilling and doing there own thing. When Jamal's mom called everyone to the dining room for dinner. Everyone came down except for Riley.

At The Dining Table:

Dad: Where's Riley?

Mom: Wait who's Riley?

Dad: My friend's daugther

Mom: Oh...

June: Its Riley mom.... Jamal's Riley

Jamal's Mom finally came to her senses so Her husbands friends daugther, was Jamal's best friend... What a small world.

Mom: So that's her name. So Jamal why don't you call her down? I haven't seen her in a while.

Dad: But he was so eager for her to leave this morning? Are you sure? Maybe June should call her.

Mom: Why would Jamal want her to leave? They're friends!

Jamal's Dad just shrugged and Jamal just went upstairs to get Riley. Then when he was out of sight Jamal's mother and father stared at their daugther.

June: Why are you both staring at me?

Mom: What happened between them?

Dad: June, Why are they so cold to each other?

June: Well, uh..... I'll just say they aren't on the best of terms....

Mom: What do you mean?

June: You both have to ask Jamal and Riley. I don't want to speak on their behalf.

Dad: How old are you again?

June: 18?

Dad: And you still speak to us like a baby.....

Mom: Right, when are you gonna get a job?

June: I don't know...and I reassure I am a 18 year old. And I am your baby!

They kept talking. While Jamal was with Riley.

Jamal: Riley open the door....

Riley: Come in!

Jamal opened the door and Riley had headphones on listening to music, sitting on the bed.

Jamal: Riley, come eat

Riley took her headphones off and threw them to the side.

Riley: It's fine, I don't wanna disturb your family dinner.

Jamal: Well are you gonna starve in here?

Riley: I don't really care..... Just go downstairs and eat dinner.

Jamal: Riley you just came from the hospital come eat!

Riley: You don't have to scream at me... And I have no appetite to eat Jamal. Just leave me alone. Im trying to be nice to you.

Jamal: Oh

Riley: Just go, I'll just call Pure or Aslay to eat, if your that concerned. Remember I told you not to be concerned about me anymore. We have nothing ok?

Jamal: I understand that, but I will not let you starve in here.... Go call them I wanna hear so that if you can't go with them, I'll drag you downstairs to eat.

Riley: Jamal that's my business!

Jamal: Your mom wouldn't like it if I broke my promise to you..

Riley: That promise doesn't exist anymore! You broke it already!

Little did they know, outside Riley's door everyone was listening in, they we're trying to listen and see how bad things were between them.

Jamal: Riley.... Stop this already!

Riley: No! You stop already!

Jamal: How many times to I have to say sorry!?

Riley ignored him.

Jamal: SPEAK! Stop Ignoring me already!

Riley started to cry really hard. Jamal was shocked, Riley actually cried! Not that it's a good thing. But at least she isn't puting up an act to make herself look strong at times like this.

Riley: Oh now im crying....

Riley looked up.

Jamal: Riley, talk to me.... I really don't wanna believe our friendship ended, we've been friends since Gr6, don't do this.

Riley: Then Believe it or not!!!!!!!

Jamal: Your too much!

Jamal was getting frustrated. He was crying inside but mad on the outside. He was upset. He doesn't want his friendship with Riley to end. But she's making it harder to fix.

Riley: And that's the problem, don't you see it! We don't see eye to eye. Im that quiet girl nobody ever talks too with only 2 maybe 3 close friends with friends that are slowly drifting away from. And You YOUR THAT POPULAR "HOT" LOOKING BOY. ALWAYS CAUSING TROUBLE AND PLAYING WITH GIRLS HEARTS LIKE THAT, WITH A MILLION FRIENDS THAT NO FRIEND OR GIRL WOULD EVER LEAVE. We're from different worlds!!

Jamal: Riley! That doesn't matter! I saw through that! Why can't we work through it!?

Riley: GET THE HELL OUT OF MY ROOM! YOU HURT ME NOT ONLY EMOTIONALLY BUT PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY TOO! You blew it! We're done! Stop trying to fix things! Stop blaming it on me! You know what you did! You know why I left you! Stop thinking you know everything! Stop reminding me of you! Stop getting close to me! Stop making it harder for me to get over you! Stop acting like you just broke up with your girlfriend! Stop playing with my emotions! Stop playing with my heart! Stop lying to me! Stop reminding me of the past 5 years! I'm just a friend who left you NOTHING ELSE!

Jamal: If that's what you want fine!

Jamal slammed the door open and left to his room. Hiding his face because he was crying. June followed him. And Jamal's parents went to Riley room, following the sounds of Riley's hard crying and heavy breathing. Jamal's Mom hugged her. Riley mumbled while she layed her head on her shoulder.

Riley: Ma, come back to life! Why didn't you take me with you!?

Mom: Riley, I'm sorry..... I didn't know that happened to you and I'm sorry if I could bring back your mom I would.

Jamal's dad was watching the drama infront of him. So this is what happened while he was away for alot of his childrens lives. His wife mouthed to him " Go to Jamal, I got this" So he left to Jamal's room.

Jamal POV:

Why is that girl so mean!? Im just trying to be nice and caring! It's not my fault I hit her! She annoyed me! Its not my fault I annoyed her! She started it! Or did I? I don't care! This mess is her fault because she's the mean, and obnoxious ONE! I cried and I didn't want too! If someone takes a picture of me like this! It would ruin my reputation!
