Chapter 9- Natsu V.S Gray

OMG GUYS, it's been so long since I last updated don't kill me pls XD. Anywhoo, I'm dedicating this chapter to @AbbieVanityCakes oh and also, I will be personally making up moves for Gray in this, since I don't know anything for the ability I'm giving him XD

Lucy POV

"We have to go save Natsu!" I exclaim to Levy, who is currently across the room

"Okay, let's g-" Levy stops for a minute and grabs her ringing phone "Mirajane?"

"Levy! Get down to the Temple just out of the city, now!" Mirajane commands over the phone

Me, with the most idiotic look on my face. I finally snap back into reality and grab Levy's hand and we rush out the door.

"Levy. W-we made it" I somehow manage to get out after running quite a long distance, we are currently outside the Temple. I hear talking coming from inside, is that Gray? And Natsu? We have to get in there, when suddenly we heard

"FIRE DRAGONS ROAR!!!!"

"ICE DEVILS RAGE!!!!"

Then the world went black...

Mirajane POV

"Lucy! Levy! You're here! Amazing! We need to do something to help stop this"

"Mira... There's nothing we can anymore, a Dragon Slayer and an Ice Devil Slayer have interlocked into battle. Only a God Slayer could maybe do something to stop this, there's no telling what could happen at this point" Lucy tells me, I think she's caught on to the secret I've been hiding.

"Ne, Lucy?"

"Yeah?"

"Do you know?"

"I do..."

"I'm sorry for not telling you, wen you love someone who's dating your best friend. You have to hide it as much as possible"

"It's okay Mira, just don't try anything Haha" she chuckles

"I won't Lucy, I wo-" then we heard

"FIRE DRAGONS ROAR!!!!"

"ICE DEVILS RAGE!!!!"

Then the world went black

We woke up to the sounding of? Slurping? I open my eyes to see Natsu eating the fire for the Temple that used to be there.

"Now that I've eaten, I'm all fired up"

I loved it when he would say that, no matter when it was

"FIRE DRAGONS IRON FIST!!!!"

Then I slowly fell into the clutches of unconsciousness

Natsu POV

"FIRE DRAGONS IRON FIST!!!!"

I try to attack Gray but he dodges and punches me in the back, sending me flying a few metres. I slam down onto the ground with a bone breaking crack, I get back up just to get shot with Gray's damn ice bow, Gray takes another shot. I manage to grab it and melt it

"Nice try Elsa, that won't work twice in a row"

"Tch" I hear Gray mutter

"ICE DEVILS HAMMER!!!!"

Gray slams me deep into the ground, then takes a swing at me, then knocks me towards the Temples "entrance" or what's left of it, I land hard. I see Lucy, Levy, and Mirajane laying there, their all okay. Except, Mirajane...

She isn't breathing...

"N-no... NO!! Mirajane, come on get up" she isn't moving at all

I stand up, I feel a tear roll down my check. Gray takes another swing with his stupid hammer and sends me flying and crashing into an electrical building, sending surges of electricity through my body. The entire factory explodes, I lay there motionless waiting to die.

Gray POV

I'm sorry.... old friend, this has to be done. In order to see my father again, I have to kill you. I'm sorry... I'm sorry... IM SORRY!!

I take one last swing at Natsu, which causes him to fly into the nearest Electrical plant. I see the plant explode and I start to cry, realizing what I had done. I didn't want this, I don't want Natsu dead. Just the thought of being able to see dad again...

Electricity shoots into the sky, then strikes right in front of me.

"I-I'm not d-done yet..." I hear a voice from inside the bolt

"IM NOT DONE YET!!!!"

"What the he-"

"LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGONS BRILLIANT FLAME!!!!"

I knew it...

"LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGONS FIRING HAMMER!!!!"

I knew I couldn't do it...

"LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGONS FIST!!!!!"

He was my best friend, even if we never showed it

"LIGHTNING FLAME DRAGONS ROAR!!!!!!!!!"

This is it

"NEW SECRET DRAGON SLAYER ART: CRIMSON LOTUS EXPLODING LIGHTNING BLADE!!!!!"

This is where I die...
