Two Days to Change

We stayed up all night talking and getting to know each other better.

Turns out Seth's wolf name is Mike—how simple, right? Thank god, I thought it would be something impossible to pronounce.

By the time we finally slept, it was 8 AM. We had to draw the curtains to block the sun. When we woke up, it was 6 PM.

I nudged Seth. He jolted awake and pulled me behind him like something was about to attack.

"Seth! What's wrong?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. Instinct."

God... that was hot. I wanted to jump his bones. Gaaa, he's so sexy. I bit my lip.

He turned to look at me and sniffed the air.

"I can smell your aroma... it's strong. It's setting me off."

A low growl rumbled in his chest.

Damn. He knows I want him.

I squeaked, "I'm hungry."

I jumped off the bed and ran downstairs.

Seth laughed and raced after me. "I know you're avoiding it, Lyla!"

"I have to remember!" I yelled over my shoulder.

We laughed together and headed into the kitchen. I opened the fridge and stared—no idea what to make.

"You want me to cook?" he asked.

"You can cook?"

He nodded, smirking as he moved me aside. He grabbed ingredients and started pulling food out like a pro.

I sat on the bar stool, watching. Veggies, meat...

"Stew?" I guessed.

"The best stew in the world."

"Better make enough for me, bro—please!" Alex said, walking in.

Seth chuckled. "I got you."

Alex sat next to me. "So, how'd you two meet?"

Seth and I looked at each other.

"Class," we both said.

"Just class?" Alex raised an eyebrow.

"Yeah, just class," I said.

"Well, I bet y'all are glad you met there."

"Very," Seth and I said together again.

When the food was done, all the guys stormed in from outside.

"AWWW, DUDE! Did you make enough for all of us?"

"No. Just for me, Lyla, and Seth. That's what y'all get for cheating!"

"We didn't cheat at basketball! You just suck!"

"Chill—I made enough for third helpings."

"COOL!"

"Go get washed up first. Y'all stink!" I said, scrunching my nose.

They rolled their eyes.

"Aww, Lyla, you know we love you!" they said.

"Nope, y'all are mean!"

"Awwww!" They group hugged me, sweaty buff bodies everywhere.

"EWWW! Y'all are getting me all sweaty! Gross!"

"Say you love us and we'll stop," Alex teased.

"NO!"

"Come on, guys, squeeze harder!"
