I look up, letting out a loud sigh. Woojin is dead and Chan is in the hospital with a broken collar bone, dislocated shouder, and concussion. Nobody really talks to each other, either. It's mostly crying or mumbling 'excuse me' or whatever.
I don't know how to tell everyone. The staff continues to prep us for the concert, when we sing 'Young Wings' as a special performance. I play with microphone in my hands nervously. Usually, I hold Woojin's hand when we go onstage, but now he's not here.
"You're in in thirty seconds, Han." The lady with long brown hair tells me.
I nod and go over to meet where Felix already had the tissues ready. I smile slightly. We go up into the stage, everyone cheering. I simply look down as I hear to my position.
The music starts and we all do our best to not mess up. The sea of people all sang along with us. But they didn't know yet. They didn't know why Woojin and Chan weren't here tonight.
"Everyone... I have some bad news for you..." I start after the song is over. " The other night... this guy came up to us while we were heading home after celebrating Woojin's birthday... he yelled at us and attacked us. He ended up putting Channie-hyung into the hospital with a few bad injuries. And Woojin didn't make it home that night." My voice breaks as I begin to cry. "The guy ended up killing Woojin on his own birthday."
The crowd all gasps or screams or cries. I look down, Felix handing me a tissue. I hear Changbin pipe up.
"Everyone... what he's saying happened. We were all there." He says into his microphone.
A few of the people scream and cry again. I look up at their shocked faces, then look back down and wipe my tears with the tissue Felix had given me.
Jeong-In comes over and hugs me. "We can visit Channie-hyung after the concert is finished." He says in my ear.
I nod. "Okay." I hug him back.
I glance at the tissue, which had my makeup on it. Great. I wiped that off. I sniffle and stand up straight.
"Everyone, please understand as we will probably take a break to go through this. We will be as strong as we can for you." Hyunjin says, trying not to cry.
I let go of Jeong-In and look at his face. I cup his face in my hands, running my thumb over the blue and purple bruise that still showed despite the makeup on his face.
He holds my hand and we sit on the stage into it was time to go. We all head to the hospital to visit Chan. He was laying there, head wrapped in bandages and his arm in a sling to prevent it from healing wrong. He looks up at us, still drowsy from the heavy pain killers he was on.
"Hey, hyung." Felix says.
Chan rubs his forehead sleepily and waves back at us. I go to sit near them as the Aussies talk with each other. Jeong -In sits on my lap, hugging me. I wrap my arms around his frail figure and pull him into a cuddle.
"Shit..." Chan says loudly, making everyone, including himself, gasp. "Sorry. I didn't mean to say that." He looks down.
"It's okay. You went through a lot." Felix strokes his cheek.
"God! Why don't you two just flirt right in front everyone?!" Changbin groans loudly.
"We 're not fucking flirting!" Felix mocks his groan.
Chan hits Felix's shoulder. "Don't use that language!" He exclaims.
"But he's always saying shit l like that I'm sick of it!" He says, complaining.
"I don't care!" Chan says.
Felix sighs. "You're right. I shouldn't talk like that." He nods and looks down.
"That's better." Chan lays on his back, sighing.
I look at Jeong-In, who was nervously biting his lip. I wrap my arm around him.
"What's wrong?" I ask.
He looks at me, blushing. "I need to talk to you in private."
