(A/N): I LISTENED TO ALPHA BY PERIPHERY THROUGHOUT WRITING ALL OF THIS SO IT MIGHT SEEM INCREDIBLY WEIRD OR EDGY SORRY-

THIRD PERSON POV

(Y/N) awoke with a groan, multiple sections of her body aching with pain. Her knees felt weak, her arms limp. Multiple yellow and dark blue bruises were scattered across her body like polka dots, almost seeming to dance upon her (S/C) skin.

All she could remember was purple. The color of a wilting rose, a bright flash of light . Her mind strained to try and locate the reason why, but it was like some sort of rusty chain was blocking the answer. Close to cracking, just all it needed was a little push.

Her hands and feet tingled at the sensation of a soft fuzzy blanket wrapped around her body. She gently laid her hand among the surface of the fabric. Velvet.

(Y/N) slowly stood up, now growing wary of her surroundings. The room that she was inside of had a gothic undertone to it, with numerous candles and patches of red velvet fabric scattered across the area for color.

"Hello?" She called out, an echo of her voice flowing through the air. Her mind was soon flooded with thoughts, worried she was the only living soul in the area. If only she knew.

(Y/N) slowly walked forward, carefully taking one step at a time. Before she knew it, she had reached the barren walls surrounding the area, multiple cracks consuming the plaster surface. She took a deep breath as her fingers lingered over the rusty brass doorknob.

A loud creaking noise could be heard from the hinges on the door, sending a shiver down (Y/N)'s spine. She shook her head, reminding herself to remain calm. Even though she was in a unknown area, she somehow stuck to her guts and showed almost no fear. Just curiosity.

What seemed to be two see-through purple ovals with eyes came into view, eyeing the girl with joy and knowing. Slightly giggling to themselves, they phased through the wooden floors, moving straight towards to their masters location.

(Y/N) shut the door to the room she was previously in, unaware of the two beings that were watching her. The floor slightly settled underneath her weight, making faint groaning noises in the process.

A rough, cold hand grasped her shoulder, forcibly yet gently turning her around.

She looked at the stranger. She had expected someone weird, but still human. Not a skeleton. In a suit.

Her eyes lingered down to the golden heart-shaped locket near the 'man's chest, trying to avoid the person's watchful gaze. His purple eyes stared down onto her, making the blood rush slightly to her cheeks from the non-existent contact.

Something told her to reach for the heart. It was almost like it was calling out to (Y/N), almost commanding her to grab it and keep it. She obeyed the voice in her head, almost in a hypnotic-like trance.

The skeletons boney hand grabbed her wrist, forbidding her to touch the trinket. Lewis stared at (Y/N), almost smirking inside his head. This was all according to plan, just like he had expected. All he needed left, was patience.

(Y/N) looked up at Lewis.

"W-who are you?"

-TIMESKIP-

Lewis sighed contently. It had been a few months ever since the incident, and his feelings for Vivi had been officially erased. His thoughts and love were reserved for (Y/N), and (Y/N) alone.

Be wrapped his arm around her waist, bringing her closer to his chest. She snuggled into the comfort, taking all of the warmth. So far, the chain had remained together, although closer to breaking apart.

She returned the affection by hugging Lewis by the waist, not being careful enough to let the locket fall to ground, accidently opening up.

Inside was a picture of Lewis, albeit before he died. He seemed to be hugging a girl much smaller than him, with neon pink glasses and blue hair. (Y/N) squinted at the picture, trying to get a closer look. There seemed to be a few burn marks near the girls face, as if it was trying to be destroyed.

(Y/N)'s eyes widened...

And the chain broke.

It all came flooding back. The crash, the flames, those oh so familiar eyes full of determination and anger...

All of it.

(Y/N) quickly tried to struggle out of the skeletons grasp, but to no avail. He was simply too strong. That, and the fact that some of the pesky translucent ghosts had decided to join in on the fun, wrapping themselves around her arms and ankles.

"L-let go of me!" She grunted, anger and determination pumping through her blood. "You're the reason Arthur may be dead!"

Lewis's eyes narrowed. She'd found out. She remembered. After all of that hard work, the begrudgingly annoying and long process. 'God Damn it.' Lewis sweared mentally, cursing at himself for not double checking the length on the memory spell he had cast on (Y/N).

Well, it didn't matter if she found out or not. It was bound to happen eventually, he just wished the innocent bliss would've lasted just a bit longer. But she belonged to him now, she was his.

His little golden heart.

"Out of all the people I've met, it's you I hate the most!"

(A/N): OK SO I KNOW I SAID THIS WAS GONNA BE THREE PARTS BUT I HAVE A REALLY COOL IDEA THAT I WANNA WRITE SO IF YOU COULD COMMENT AND TELL ME IF I SHOULD OR NOT THAT'D HELP A LOT THANK-

ALSO SORRY FOR THE (KINDA LONG) TIMESKIP
