You know that she's a reader

when she closes her eyes and feels the book

when she breathes in the smell of the pages

when every joke brings out a laugh

and when every climax makes her hold her breath

You know that she's a reader

when she's lost in the world of paper

living amongst the words

When  every death brings out a tear

a heartbreak only a another book can cure

You know that she's a reader

when she closes the book with a sigh

her heart still between the pages

as she promises to never truly say goodbye

You know that she's a reader

When she has a book where ever she goes

just waiting to be read

You know that she's a reader

When they're more books by the bed

then on the shelf

You know that she's a reader

when she likes to read

more than she likes to breath
